A Florida man was sentenced to four months in prison after he jumped through a Taco Bell drive-thru window while shirtless and robbed workers and customers with a "large rock."
Kewarren Lee Anderson, 40, was arrested in July after he was captured by an Ocala Police Department K9 dog who found him behind a dumpster.
Anderson entered the restaurant through the drive-thru window while clenching a "large rock" in his hand before demanding money from workers and customers and chasing them all out of the building, police said, according to Ocala-News.com.

The man then fled the fast food establishment, but he was quickly tracked down by a K9.
According to body camera footage, Anderson was seen behind the dumpster panicking as he held his hands up in surrender when he was approached by the K9.
It is unclear how much cash Anderson was able to take before running away.
Anderson was homeless during the robbery and told police he needed money, according to an arrest affidavit, News 6 reported.
Just hours after he was taken into custody, Anderson was involved in a physical altercation with another incarcerated person.

Anderson was charged with armed robbery and battery by a person at a detention facility in connection with the two incidents.
He was found guilty on both charges last week and sentenced to four years in prison, excluding the time he had already served in the Marion County Jail.

Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter says soccer fans should avoid traveling to the United States for the 2026 World Cup this summer.
Blatter’s reasoning? His belief that President Donald Trump’s international aggression and immigration crackdown across the country makes it dangerous for fans traveling overseas.
Blatter cited Mark Pieth, an anti-corruption expert and law professor who oversaw the Independent Governance Committee during FIFA’s reform from 2013-16. Pieth spoke with Swiss outlet Der Bund, where he told soccer fans to, "Stay away from the USA!"

"For the fans, there’s only one piece of advice: stay away from the USA!" I think Mark Pieth is right to question this World Cup," Blatter, 89, tweeted on Monday.
Pieth added in his interview: "You’ll see it better on TV anyway. And upon arrival, fans should expect that if they don’t please the officials, they’ll be put straight on the next flight home. If they’re lucky."
The United States is set to co-host this year’s World Cup, as Mexico and Canada will be the site for games in the tournament that spans from June 11-July 19. However, after the Round of 16, all remaining matches will be held in the U.S.
Trump’s stance toward Greenland has led to a call to boycott the World Cup this summer by German soccer federation executive Oke Göttlich.
"I really wonder when the time will be to think and talk about this concretely," Göttlich told Hamburger Morgenpost newspaper about a potential boycott. "For me, that time has definitely come."
Trump said recently that a "framework of a future deal" with NATO involving Greenland and the Arctic region has been discussed, which could ease tension in that regard.
"Based upon a very productive meeting that I have had with the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, we have formed the framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland and, in fact, the entire Arctic Region," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
There is also the criticism of ICE agents in U.S. cities, specifically Minneapolis, Minnesota, following the deaths of two U.S. citizens as immigration crackdowns continue.
Pieth discussed that factor as well in his interview.
"The country itself is in a state of tremendous turmoil," he said. "What we’re witnessing domestically — the marginalization of political opponents, the abuses by immigration authorities, and so on — doesn’t exactly entice a fan to travel there.
Pieth likened the States’ "security situation" to Mexico, where drug cartels threaten violence ahead of matches in Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey. Pieth believes the U.S. has become "increasingly authoritarian."
It’s worth noting Blatter was forced out of his post as FIFA president in 2015 following one of the biggest corruption scandals in the sport involving wire fraud, racketeering and money laundering.
Gianni Infantino took over Blatter’s role, and he has had a strong friendship with Trump.
The State Department also told Fox News Digital exclusively that it will launch the FIFA Priority Appointment Schedule System, or FIFA PASS, which will give World Cupp ticket holders the opportunity to access prioritized visa appointments before the tournament begins on June 11.
Prospective visa holders must be able to show that they qualify to obtain a visa and plan to follow the laws in the United States as well as leave the country once the tournament is over on July 19.
Trump spoke about the FIFA Pass in November, saying the Departments of State and Homeland Security had been working "tirelessly" to "ensure that soccer fans from all around the world are properly vetted and able to come to the United States next summer easily."
"I’ve directed my administration to do everything within the power to make the 2026 World Cup an unprecedented success. I think it’s going to be the greatest, and we are setting records on ticket sales," Trump said at the time.
Infantino said the organization expected "between 5 and 10 million people coming to America from… all over the world to enjoy the World Cup."

Fetterman opposes shutdown efforts as Democratic colleagues move to block ICE funding bill
Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., said he does not want another government shutdown as his Democratic counterparts move to block a bill that would fund immigration agencies such as ICE, a move that increases the odds of a shutdown.
Joining "Hannity" on Monday, the Democratic senator, who has a reputation for not toeing the line with his party, discussed how Democrats are voting against funding the Department of Homeland Security, unless there are new guardrails put in place for immigration enforcement tactics.
"If the Democrats vote to shut it down, now our entire military won't be paid again," Fetterman said. "I can't ever support that."
The senator said his opposition stems from the damaging consequences of the last government shutdown that ended in November.

"I remain to be one Democrat, at least, that refuses to shut our government down," he told Fox News. "If this happens, our military won't be paid because a significant part of our government would shut down again."
The fatal shooting of Alex Pretti by a federal agent over the weekend in Minneapolis mobilized Senate Democrats to oppose the funding bill, a development Fetterman acknowledged while expressing grief for Pretti and Renee Good’s deaths.
"We've lost two American citizens. I don't think anyone in America wants that," Fetterman told host Sean Hannity.

Fetterman said those deaths should not be used to justify a government shutdown, which he argued would only compound national harm.
Instead, he called for a broader debate on immigration enforcement operations and reforms to ICE tactics.
"I actually hope we can engage in a debate and make some of the kinds of common-sense reforms on ICE and make it more safe, more humane and more effective and just focus exclusively on the criminals," Fetterman said.
Fetterman has made clear he does not support abolishing or slashing funding for federal immigration agencies.
"I reject the calls to defund or abolish ICE," he declared in a post to X on Monday.

At the same time, the senator says he strongly disagrees with ICE’s "strategies and practices" in Minneapolis and argued they "must change."
"We should all agree to deport all of the criminals now that are here in our nation right now," Fetterman told Fox News.
"As a pro-immigration Democrat, I do think we need to develop a way for citizenship for the very hard-working migrants that are amidst this world, too," he added.
Sewage spill sends E coli surging in the Potomac River near DC
The Potomac is facing more than rough waters after a sewage spill near Lockhouse 10 sent E. coli levels soaring far beyond safe limits in Washington, D.C., with new testing revealing contamination thousands of times higher than what’s considered safe for human contact.
Lockhouse 10 is a historic canal lock and restored lockkeeper’s house along the Chesapeake and Ohio (C&O) Canal, originally used to manage boat traffic on the 19th-century canal and now preserved as a quiet historic site about five miles from the heart of Washington, D.C.
The Potomac Riverkeeper Network (PRKN) released test results from contaminated water along the Potomac River that PRKN President Betsy Nicholas said show impacts far worse than initially believed.
The results showed elevated levels of E. coli bacteria, a type of bacteria commonly found in the intestines of people and animals that are usually harmless but can cause diarrhea and more serious gastrointestinal illness when certain toxin-producing strains contaminate food or water, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

"These measurements of E. coli bacteria show contamination which is nearly 12,000 times what authorities limit for human contact," Nicholas said. "So far, almost 300 million gallons have entered the Potomac River, and the long-term impact cannot be overstated. We measured against standards established by Virginia’s Department of Environmental Quality and Maryland’s Department of the Environment.
"We were able to get this information thanks to real-time testing conducted Friday by Dean Naujoks, Potomac Riverkeeper, and Evan Quinter, PRKN volunteer coordinator," she added.

Beyond the initial findings, additional testing conducted along the Potomac River shows how far the contamination spread and how dramatically bacteria levels varied depending on location.
Naujoks said the sampling locations were chosen to show contamination at the source of the spill, at popular public recreation areas and miles downstream in Washington, D.C.
"We sampled the sewage discharging from the broken interceptor pipe to the Potomac River near Lock 10 and the result was 4,884,000 MPN – Most Probable Number for E. coli – which is 11,900 times higher than the 410 MPN limit for safe human contact," he said. "Very nearby, samples collected from the river at the Lock House 10 public river access where people recreate showed values were 7,000 times above the 410 limit.

"We also sampled roughly four miles downstream in D.C. waters at Fletchers Cove, where testing data revealed E. coli levels were 60 times higher than the 410 standard," he added.
Naujoks said the spill was the result of infrastructure failures that he argues could have been prevented with better maintenance and planning.
"Infrastructure failure is at the root of this disaster – the six-foot-diameter sewage interceptor pipe located this close to the river should have been better maintained to avoid this catastrophe," Naujoks said. "DC Water needs to come up with a better plan than using a 100-year-old dry canal ditch to capture and contain future sewage releases instead of discharging hundreds of millions of gallons of sewage to the river. One of the largest sewage spills in U.S. history could have been avoided."

Harrowing footage circulating online shows his distraught father desperately searching among piles of bodies covered with black body bags, crying out for his missing son.
Sepehr Ebrahimi, 19, was killed on Jan. 11 in the Andisheh area, approximately 19 miles west of Tehran’s city center, according to Iranian opposition sources.
"Sepehr was shot and killed in Tehran," Ali Safavi, a senior official with the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), told Fox News Digital.

"My dear Sepehr, where are you?" the father can be heard crying. At one point, he shouts, "Damn Khamenei. They have killed the children of so many people. You killed so many young people!"
According to Safavi, Ebrahimi was shot with live ammunition by Iran’s security forces during protests against the clerical regime.
His family spent an agonizing week searching through morgues, hospitals and detention facilities before finally identifying his body among piles of corpses, also shown in the viral footage.

The killing comes amid ongoing demonstrations across Iran, as anger continues to simmer over political repression, economic hardship and human rights abuses.

Vafaei Sani, now 30, is a champion boxer who was arrested in 2020 for participating in nationwide pro-democracy protests.
Iranian authorities accused him of supporting the opposition group the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK).
He has spent five years in prison, during which he has reportedly been tortured and held in prolonged solitary confinement, according to rights organizations.

Meanwhile, the death of Ebrahimi and others come as Iran’s protest-related death toll continues to rise.
According to the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), at least 6,126 people have been killed since the start of the latest wave of protests.
HRANA also reported that 214 government-affiliated forces and 49 civilians have also been killed, while more than 17,000 deaths remain under investigation.

California progressives think Gov. Gavin Newsom courting conservatives on his podcast is a "tough swallow," as speculation grows that he will run for president in 2028.
One progressive from the state said while Newsom has made a few policy decisions that have upset the left, the more concerning issue was the "political choices" of the governor.
"The bigger issues are on political choices like interviewing Kirk, Bannon, and [Ben] Shapiro," said Elizabeth Ashford, a California-based communications adviser. Ashford formerly served as Kamala Harris’s chief of staff when the former vice president was California's attorney general.
"No matter how it’s framed, a sitting governor giving these guys airtime is legitimizing," she said. "For progressives, choices like that are a tough swallow."

"He is adored by the MSNBC wine mom crowd because of his Trump trolling, but when the actual primary kicks into high gear, primary voters are going to quickly learn about his record and policies that have disappointed a lot of people and groups in California," the strategist added.

As progressives across the state share concern about Newsom’s policies, Ashford said the backlash is typical for governors passing laws.
"Sure, progressives have been irritated about some of his policy choices, like cutting environmental reviews for housing construction, and raising penalties for smash-and-grab. But that’s just normal governor stuff," Ashford said. "You’re never going to make everyone happy on laws — nor should you."
Newsom's office didn't immediately responded to a request for comment.
Feds charge 87 individuals in massive ATM 'jackpotting' operation linked to Tren de Aragua gang
At least 87 individuals connected to the Venezuelan terrorist organization Tren de Aragua (TdA) have been indicted for a massive scheme in which members allegedly stole millions of dollars from ATMs nationwide, a crime commonly known as "ATM jackpotting."
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Nebraska announced Monday 31 new defendants, joining 56 others previously charged in a major Homeland Security Task Force operation.
The criminal ring, largely composed of Venezuelan and Colombian nationals and TdA members, used the stolen funds to fuel its terrorist activity, including human trafficking, sex trafficking of children, kidnapping, murder and "other unspeakably evil and violent acts," according to U.S. Attorney Lesley A. Woods for the District of Nebraska.
"Tren de Aragua is a complex terrorist organization that commits serious financial crimes in addition to horrific rapes, murders, and drug trafficking," Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a statement.

According to the Justice Department, members allegedly hacked into ATMs and forced machines to dispense cash by deploying a malware variant known as Ploutus, which was designed to delete evidence of its presence in an effort to conceal the crime.

Officials said members arrived at targeted banks and credit unions to scout ATMs and note any external security features. The groups would then open the hood or door of the machines and wait to determine whether an alarm or a law enforcement response had been triggered. Once clear, the groups installed malware by removing the hard drive and installing the software directly, replacing the hard drive with one preloaded with Ploutus, or connecting an external device, such as a thumb drive, to deploy the malware.
The update follows two similar indictments last year in December and October. The total 87 individuals involved face a range of federal offenses, including material support to a designated foreign terror organization, bank burglary, bank fraud, money laundering, damage and unauthorized access to protected computers, and conspiracy to commit the same offenses.
Social media post about Tennessee mayor's children sparks feud with local Democrats
Hamilton County, Tenn., Mayor Weston Wamp found himself in a heated online exchange with local Democratic officials this week after comments from a community member about Planned Parenthood on his Facebook page sparked sharp criticism and a public political clash.
According to Chattanooga's Local 3 News, the exchange occurred after a commenter weighed in on a post featuring Wamp's family last Christmas, writing, "This is why we need Planned Parenthood, this picture right here."
Wamp, a Republican, took a screenshot of the comment and wrote in a separate post, "Recently, a commenter on my family Christmas post suggested that my children were a reason why we need Planned Parenthood.
"I found that vile comment deeply out of step with the values of Hamilton County," he said.

"Now, we also see Democrat activists proudly training with Planned Parenthood for 2026 campaigns. Relying on Planned Parenthood for campaign training is a new low for the local Democratic Party," Wamp continued in the caption, per Local 3 News.

Wamp, according to local outlet The Chattanoogan, characterized the images as representing two "very different visions for the future of Hamilton County."
The local Democratic Party fired back in a Facebook post, writing, "Hamilton County Democratic Party is disappointed by County Mayor Weston Wamp’s decision to manufacture outrage on social media rather than focus on the real work facing Hamilton County.

Former Trail Blazers center Chris Dudley makes second run for governor of Oregon
A former Portland Trail Blazers player is taking his best shot at being the next governor of Oregon.
Chris Dudley, a Republican and 16-year NBA veteran, announced his candidacy for the role in a video posted online.
"I love Oregon, and even though we have some serious problems, there are solutions and I believe our best days are ahead of us," he said in the video.

Dudley spent six of his 16 NBA seasons in Portland as the team’s center.
Dudley, who was born in Connecticut and went to high school in San Diego, California, played in Portland from 1993-97 before returning for the 2001-02 season. He played his final two seasons with the Trail Blazers before retirement.
Dudley came within less than two percentage points of becoming Oregon’s governor in 2010, falling to then-incumbent Democrat John Kitzhaber, 49.3% to 47.8%.
He joins a field now of 14 Republicans who have all announced they will be running to defeat current Gov. Tina Kotek. Kotek and five other Democrats also announced they are running.
The Oregon primary election is set for May 19.
Dudley began his NBA career with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who selected him in the fourth round of the 1987 NBA Draft. He played parts of three seasons there before a trade to the New Jersey Nets.
Dudley spent four seasons with the Nets before joining the Trail Blazers. After his original four-season stint, he landed with the New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns before his return to Portland.

The police investigation into the allegations against Busfield began on Nov. 1, 2024, after a doctor at the University of New Mexico Hospital alerted officers about a case of alleged sexual abuse.
Busfield is currently charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor, child under 13, and one count of child abuse. Under New Mexico law, each count of criminal sexual contact carries up to six years of incarceration, and child abuse carries up to three years, Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman stated.
If convicted, Busfield could face up to 15 years in prison. Busfield has denied the allegations.
