DAVID MARCUS: Democrats own the chaos and racism at New Jersey anti-ICE riots
After a week of violent clashes outside the Delany Hall Immigration, Customs and Enforcement detention center in Newark, New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill finally discovered a semblance of common sense and deployed state police to protect the area.
The scenes outside the facility have been abjectly disgusting, with the very Antifa agitators, who Democratic elected officials stand shoulder to shoulder with, screaming, "Every Cop, Every Fed, Shoot Yourself in the Head," at law enforcement.
An officer was bitten on the arm by one of these leftist lunatics, drawing blood and requiring stitches. Imagine the insanity of being so worked up over politics that you bite people like a toddler.
Meanwhile, there has also been plenty of racism on display with at least two incidents on video in which progressive White women are berating Black men - some cops, some just local workers - as "race traitors" who have "the wrong skin color."
This anti-Black racism on the far left has grown extreme, not just in New Jersey, but last year in Virginia when a supporter of Gov. Abigail Spanberger held a sign telling her opponent, the Black Winsome Earle-Sears, to use a separate water fountain.
These are the people who Sen. Andy Kim, D-N.J., was marching with, literally under an Antifa flag, when he was pepper sprayed in an altercation with ICE this week. Yet when Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., made an appointment, like a normal human being, he was let in without incident.
These phonies, like Rep. Rob Menendez, whose dad was a famous collector of gold bars as well as a former Garden State senator, currently in jail for bribery, show up and give comfort to these violent anarchist thugs all while lying about the conditions at the detention center.

Absurd rumors were spread by these Democrats about the horrid food being served to those detained in Newark, and yet when Fox News obtained the monthly menu for the facility, it looked like the offerings one might find on a moderately priced cruise ship.
These so-called protests are not about conditions at Delaney Hall. They are about making a scene, preferably a violent scene, to perpetuate the slanderous lie that ICE is President Donald Trump’s personal Gestapo.
In one of the greatest moments of psychological projection of all time, Sherrill actually had the nerve to claim that it was ICE that wanted to stoke violence.

"I will not give ICE the pretext to expand operations in our state," Sherrill said. "For that reason, New Jersey law enforcement is today establishing a peaceful, protected, protest zone in the area outside Delaney Hall.
So, if I have this right, according to the governor of New Jersey, ICE agents actually want Antifa lunatics to bite them, to accost them, and to get in the way of them doing their jobs, so they have an excuse to commit violence?
Of course, Sherrill has not a shred of evidence to back up this absurd claim, because it is a ridiculous lie. It doesn’t even make sense.

Overnight, Friday into Saturday, New Jersey State Police broke up what was becoming a large agitator encampment, complete with the kind of massive tents that hold wedding receptions, a medical tent and thousands of dollars in supplies. But make no mistake, Antifa will be back.
Hopefully, Sherrill and other Democrats will stick to their guns in curbing Antifa’s dangerous antics. Had Gov. Tim Walz had the fortitude to deploy state police in Minnesota, Renee Good and Alex Pretti would likely be alive today.
With the arrival of summer, the scenes at Delaney Hall and across the nation can go one of two ways: Either Democrats get a handle on it and punish violence and law breaking, or we will have another "summer of love," like 2020, full of death and destruction.
What would really help is if a major Democratic figure, like former President Barack Obama or New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani, would tell their deranged followers to stop telling cops to blow their brains out or threatening to kill their families, as has also occurred.
But Democrats likely won’t calm things down. They would rather risk the lives of their own supporters and law enforcement than give up the illusion that Trump is a fascist and we are in a great national crisis.
This weekend will go a long way towards telling the tale. Will Sherill and New Jersey Democrats stick to their guns and quell the maddening crowds, or will they give in to the Antifa madness as so many have before?
Either way, the Democrats own these anarchist agitators and their violence. The only question is whether deep down, they actually support the chaos.

Dez Bryant defends Jaxson Dart's Trump introduction, says he doesn't understand 'the hate' from critics
One former NFL star has weighed in on New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart’s introduction of President Donald Trump, which sparked some controversy after his teammate, Abdul Carter, publicly ridiculed the move by his signal caller.
Dez Bryant, the All-Pro wide receiver who spent the majority of his nine-year career with the Dallas Cowboys, took to social media himself to say he doesn’t get "the hate" Dart got for introducing Trump at a rally last week.
"I really don’t understand the hate Jaxon [sic] Dart got for introducing President Trump. Good or bad..if you support Trump or not..you’re in a lose lose situation," Bryant wrote on X. "Politics and religion are difficult for sports. Folks have the right to believe in whatever the f--- they want.

"I don’t know..I just live by a code..As long as it’s not interfering with my s---..do whatever you want because you’ve got to take whatever you’re on up with God. I’m too much of a sinner to be judgmental and political."
Dart, Carter, head coach John Harbaugh and backup quarterback Jameis Winston all spoke on the situation Friday, with Dart and Carter embracing as they switched spots at the podium.
The Giants wanted to showcase there was no animosity in the locker room, but both Dart and Carter held their ground on their stance.
"Some things are bigger than football, and this is one of those things," Carter told reporters at the team’s practice facility in East Rutherford, New Jersey. "Jaxson is one of our leaders. He's the face of our franchise. He not only represents himself and what he does, but he represents all of us, and that goes for anybody who wears a Giants uniform.
"But if he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump, it's my responsibility based on what I believe or what I stand on, to not only show my teammates that I'm against that, but to show the world."
Dart prefaced his time with reporters saying he prepared a statement and was hoping to talk football moving forward.
"This was a unique opportunity, you know, being asked and given the opportunity to introduce the President of the United States," Dart said. "My thinking was pretty simple in the fact of, you know, I've always loved this country. I have extended family members who have fought wars. I have two uncles who have retired from the Air Force Academy and served themselves. And I even have a great grandfather who served as Secretary of Treasury at some point.
"So, the President position has always been a position that I've well respected, regardless of political affiliation, regardless of political party and, you know, my intentions were just that."
Carter added that, while he believes he needed to speak up, "it doesn’t mean that me and Jaxson hate each other or we have beef." He pointed out how they sit next to each other every day during team meetings, where they talk all the time.
"I don’t want him to say he’s sorry. Stand on what you believe in," Carter said.
Dart added: "We just talked. You know, me and Abdul came here at the same time. We shared a lot of very similar experiences. We've experienced adversity through a season and had to have each other's backs and that's exactly what we continued to do today. …Me and him are one of the closer guys on the team with each other. So, you know, we've had a lot of conversations. And he's my brother, I know that I'm a brother to him, and, at the end of the day, we want to be the best people and players for each other."
Winston, who serves as the wise veteran voice in the locker room as well as a solid backup option at quarterback, said he was "proud" of both Dart and Carter for talking with each other as well as reporters.
"I’m proud of our team for understanding that we don’t have to pick a side in this," he said.
Harbaugh echoed Winston’s proud mindset, believing his new team will be better because of the situation.
"We’re in a good place now, and we’re moving forward," he said.

Rogan tells ‘traitor’ comedians condemning the Kevin Hart roast to ‘F--- all the way off’
Podcaster Joe Rogan called out comedians who are condemning the politically incorrect humor at the Kevin Hart roast, arguing on Friday that they are disrespecting the art of comedy as a profession.
The recent roast of Hart made waves for its no-holds-barred jokes that outraged people across the political spectrum. Netflix's recent roast specials have been infamous for jokes about panelists' divorces, dead relatives and numerous other taboo topics. During the night, Tony Hinchcliffe made headlines by appearing to imply George Floyd was watching the show from hell, saying, "The Black community is so proud of you right now. George Floyd is looking up at us all, laughing so hard he can’t breathe."
Jokes like this and others have caused a firestorm among comedians, particularly among liberal circles or in the Black community, who have begun to criticize Hart, arguing he should have intervened somehow.
Rogan spoke with his fellow comedian Harland Williams about how much of the general public is not aware of how brutal roasts can be, by their very nature, partially because they had been phased out of American culture until relatively recently.
"It's a long time in the zeitgeist, right? So those things don't exist to kids. Roast jokes are f---ing mean. They've always been f---ing mean," Rogan said, adding that the late Patrice O’Neal could "eviscerate" the entire stadium with his sharp humor.

You're a f---ing traitor. You're just using this moment to try to boost yourself up, to try to, like, knock down what's happening."
He went on to say, "You could disagree with the content. You could say, ‘I think they went too far with this,’ But this f---ing pretending that these people are actual racists and Nazis just because they're telling these jokes that are in a roast? Like, f--- all the way off."
"Yeah. Don't suit up, go out, and play hockey if you don't want to play hockey," Williams agreed. "Sit on the bench. And don't badmouth the people playing hockey."

Rogan agreed, recalling, "And by the way, you know who didn't have a problem with it? Kevin f---ing Hart. Kevin f---ing Hart has defended every single person that said horrible s--- about him — about him being lynched from a bonsai tree and all the craziest s--- that they said."
"Well, you know, who else didn't have a problem with it is the people, the corporations that put it on corporate television, on corporate airwaves," Harland agreed.
Rogan argued that recent roasts like this have been some of the most popular content in the history of Netflix.
Hart had indeed defended the roast during an interview with Charlamagne tha God and rejected calls that he should have intervened to stop the racially charged jokes on behalf of the Black community.
Hart defended Hinchcliffe’s controversial standup set as one of the best, if not the best, of the night. He went on to recall that there were jokes told at the expense of his dead parents that night he did not stop either, and that he should not be held responsible for other people’s jokes.
When he mentioned that he had a positive phone call with one critic who had been offended by the George Floyd joke, and Charlamagne argued he should have led with that to show that he cares, Hart replied, "I don't f---ing need to prove to people that I give a f---!"
"Yes, you do," Charlamagne replied.
"No, I don't!" Hart said. "If you open that door, then that's the door that people expect all the time. Why the f--- do I need to do that?"
Super Bowl champion Joe Theismann reveals key factor in Aaron Rodgers decision to return to Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers brought back Aaron Rodgers for one final season, but Super Bowl champion Joe Theismann cited Mike McCarthy as the chief reason for Rodgers’ return.
Thiesmann, 76, said he didn’t think Rodgers would have to returned if he had to learn an entirely new system and playbook.
"I think Aaron coming back was a was a no-brainer for me because Mike McCarthy's there," Theismann told Fox News Digital in a recent interview.

"If there was a different coordinator, I don't think Aaron would have come back. If Mike's there, I basically (thought) it was 90-10 (he would return)."
McCarthy and Rodgers spent 13 seasons together with the Green Bay Packers, and Theismann said their familiarity in Green Bay will make it a smooth transition.
"They're still reunited when it comes to the system. Aaron doesn't have to spend a lot of time in OTA’s understanding the terminology, figuring out the reads. He could coach anybody when it comes to the system that I’m sure they're going to run. So, there's a comfort level for him when he goes there. As far as not learning a new playbook," Theismann said.
While Rodgers was effective last season, as the four-time NFL MVP proved he still had some juice left in the tank. In 16 games, he completed 65.7% of his passes for 3,322 yards with 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Rodgers can certainly still throw the ball well, but at 42 years old his mobility isn’t what it once was. Theismann talked about how imperative it is for the offensive line to play well.
"He's going to get the ball out of his hands quickly," Theismann said. "But they're going to have to shore up the offensive line and protect him. If they want Aaron Rodgers to be the Aaron Rodgers that they hope he can be, they're going to have to give him a chance to be able to hold the ball and throw it downfield."
Even though the Steelers will have a new head coach for the first time in nearly two decades, Theismann still expects their brand of football to remain.
"Pittsburgh is still going to be Pittsburgh. I don't think their mentality is going to change one bit. They are the Pittsburgh Steelers. They're one tough football team that plays in a very tough division and it's all about toughness in that division and Aaron has certainly shown how tough he can be," Theismann said.
Theismann played in the NFL for 12 seasons, spending his whole career with the Washington Redskins. He was named the league MVP in 1983 and made the Pro Bowl twice.
He led the Redskins to the Super Bowl in 1982, when they beat the Miami Dolphins 27-17 in Super Bowl XVII. In his career, Theismann completed 56.7% of his passes for 25,206 yards with 160 touchdowns and 138 interceptions.
Theismann will be competing in the American Century Championship from July 10-12 at Edgewood Golf Course in Lake Tahoe. The tournament will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock.

MIKE DAVIS: Disgraced Georgia judge must leave the bench over sex scandal
U.S. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon filed a motion Friday seeking the recusal of Atlanta U.S. District Judge Eleanor Ross from a key election-integrity case after Ross admittedly – and illegally – attended a partisan Democrat fundraiser for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Obviously, Ross’ attendance makes clear she isn't impartial.
But this is just the beginning of Ross’s legal troubles. Indeed, news recently emerged that she defiled and dishonored her position by admittedly having years of extramarital sexual relations with Atlanta deputy police chief Kelley Collier in her chambers during work hours–trysts overheard by her staff. She lied about it when caught. She retaliated against her staff who reported it.
Yet this egregious workplace sexual misconduct, lying and obstruction of justice resulted in her receiving a mere private reprimand -- a woefully lenient and inadequate disciplinary action — from the federal judiciary. Ross should either resign or face impeachment from Congress for her egregious misconduct. She should also face federal criminal prosecution for lying to federal investigators.
The Atlanta Police Department has many cases before Ross’s court. Collier, Ross’s regular courthouse booty call, is a nearly 30-year veteran who runs the Community Services Division and is married. It was only through "happenstance," according to the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Council, that Ross did not preside over any cases involving that division while their affair was ongoing. Avoiding a clear and predictable conflict of interest through luck alone doesn’t absolve Ross. Nothing suggests that, had Ross received such a case assignment, she would have terminated the affair. Ross is also married; her husband is DeKalb County Circuit Judge Brian Ross.

The affair took place in close proximity to her law clerks, young lawyers for whom Ross was supposed to serve as a role model. Indeed, a former law clerk reported the affair to disciplinary authorities. Ross used her judicial chambers to conduct the sexual relationship. And this wasn’t a one time slip-up. This egregious sexual misconduct occurred over the course of several years, from 2023 until 2025. Ross cursed at staff when they lodged appropriate objections to her illegal behavior. Retaliatory behavior against a whistleblower who reported a judge’s wrongdoing has no place in our federal judiciary.
Ross, appointed by former President Obama, also attended the political event for Willis, the legal embarrassment who secured a sweeping, lawless, politically-motivated indictment against President Trump and nearly 20 other defendants in 2023. The courts later disqualified Willis after news emerged that she had also maintained an inappropriate workplace sexual relationship with a special prosecutor on the case, Nathan Wade. Ross attended a party to celebrate Willis’s victory in a Democrat primary. Ethical canons forbid judges from attending such partisan political events.
Ross also demonstrated an utter lack of integrity throughout this process. When Eleventh Circuit U.S. Chief Judge William Pryor confronted her about the allegations, Ross vehemently maintained her innocence. She had the audacity to call the charges "outrageous." Ross knew she was making false statements to Pryor. There is no excuse for such outright deception from a sitting judge. Had a lawyer lied so blatantly to a judge in a proceeding, that lawyer justifiably would face disbarment and potential prosecution, including a possible contempt citation. Yet, for some reason, the Judicial Council treated Ross in a shockingly lenient manner. Its refusal to make the reprimand public, naming Ross, constitutes an unacceptable lack of transparency. The public deserves to know the identity of a judge who so flagrantly abused her office, lied about it, retaliated, and attempted a cover-up. She is a liar who got caught and has no place on the federal bench. This case demonstrates why Congress should enact Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley’s legislation establishing an independent inspector general for the federal judiciary. Federal judges prove repeatedly they are incapable of policing their own ethics.
Ross’s eventual confession does not mitigate her egregious behavior. The Judicial Council and Ross agreed that she would forgo serving as chief judge of the Northern District. Ross will apologize to former staff affected by her misconduct. But these sanctions are a pittance. Ross will, as things currently stand, continue to enjoy all the pay and benefits of a lifetime federal judicial appointment. Other judges facing misconduct charges have had the integrity to resign. Ross should do the same. In the meantime, the Justice Department should prosecute Ross and the House of Representatives should impeach her.
Notably absent from this entire controversy is Georgia U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff. Ross sits on the federal bench in Ossoff’s home state, and her misconduct has embarrassed the Northern District of Georgia, the state of Georgia, and the federal judiciary as a whole. Ossoff has said nothing. He hasn’t called for her resignation. He hasn’t demanded transparency from the Judicial Council. He apparently hasn’t asked or been asked a single public question about why disciplinary authorities shielded Ross from public accountability. That silence is a choice, and Georgians must remember it.
Ross is an utter discredit to the judiciary. She should leave with a modicum of dignity and be replaced by a judge who understands that chambers are not a room at Motel 6 for a sleazy affair where everyone within earshot has to listen. If Ross refuses to step down, the House should impeach her, and the Senate Judiciary Committee–where Ossoff should be leading the charge instead of hiding behind his silence–should demand answers on why her name was never made public. Most importantly, the Justice Department should commence a criminal investigation into the false statements Ross made to Pryor, along with her obstruction of justice. The judiciary and America deserve far better than Eleanor Ross.
Anti-ICE agitator charged with allegedly biting officers during Delaney Hall clashes
An anti-U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agitator was hit with federal charges after gnarly photos showed bloody bite marks he allegedly made into federal agents' arms during violent clashes outside Delaney Hall detention center in Newark, New Jersey.
Brendan John Geier, a 26-year-old man from Madison, New Jersey, was part of a group of agitators blocking the road near Delaney Hall on Thursday night when ICE deportation officers instructed the group to move away, the U.S. Department of Justice said. He was charged with
The group allegedly ignored the commands and instead violently engaged with the officers, according to the DOJ. Geier then "engaged in a struggle with deportation officers, kicking officers and ultimately biting an officer’s forearm, and another’s knuckle. Both victims received treatment at a local hospital," prosecutors said. He was charged with assaulting federal officers and causing bodily injury and appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Cari Fais on Friday, the DOJ said.
"We will not tolerate the vicious attacks on ICE officers we’ve seen in New Jersey the last few days. These riots are clearly not 'peaceful protests' as you can see from the photos of these horrific wounds. Assault a federal officer, you’ll be held accountable," Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche wrote in a Friday afternoon post on X.
Blanche posted to X photos of bloodied ICE agents displaying their wounds.
"Peaceful protest doesn’t translate to violently attacking federal law enforcement officers," Blanche said in a statement. "Federal officers are protecting United States’ property and facilities. With virtually no local law enforcement support from New Jersey, rioters are regrouping and attacking. We will not tolerate the vicious attacks we have seen in Newark the last few days, and we will make arrests and hold people accountable for criminal conduct."
"As alleged in the Justice Department's complaint, this violent rioter savagely bit an ICE law enforcement officer outside of Delaney Hall. The Trump Administration will always stand with our law enforcement officers," Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin also added in the statement. "Anyone who assaults a law enforcement officer will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
"As alleged, this defendant responded to lawful orders from federal officers by kicking one and biting two others who were performing their official duties," U.S. Attorney Robert Frazer for the District of New Jersey also said in the statement. "Assaulting law enforcement officers is unacceptable. Period. Federal officers must be able to carry out their responsibilities without being subjected to violence, intimidation, or obstruction. This Office will continue to prosecute those who, as alleged here, assault officers and interfere with the lawful execution of their duties."
"To be clear, peaceful protest does not mean biting, kicking, or punching law enforcement officers," Acting Special Agent in Charge Spiros Karabinas of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Newark added in the statement.
"The repeated assaults on federal officers at Delaney Hall are criminal acts — not protected speech. Homeland Security Investigations is unwavering in its commitment to hold those who attack law enforcement fully accountable under the law," Karabinas concluded.
Ongoing demonstrations outside Delaney Hall are entering their second week.
Fox News Digital contacted the DOJ for additional information.
On Saturday morning, anti-ICE agitators and counterprotesters were both seen outside Delaney Hall. A crowd was growing, and many officers were seen patrolling on bikes, with a visible divide between pro-ICE protesters and anti-ICE agitators.
New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill, who spent Memorial Day at Delaney Hall supporting the anti-ICE crowds, announced Friday that she was instructing New Jersey State Police to assume responsibility for public safety outside the detention center. Despite potential ratings nightmare for NHL, Vegas-Carolina Stanley Cup Final still has plenty of intrigue
After nearly a month and a half of blood, sweat, tears and handshake lines, the Stanley Cup Finals matchup has been set.
And our two worthy competitors are... the Vegas Golden Knights and the Carolina Hurricanes.
Oh, boy.
I'm sure those are the exact words that came out of the mouth of Commissioner Gary Bettman and every NHL marketing executive's mouth the minute Friday night's Eastern Conference Finals game ended.

From a ratings perspective, you'd be hard-pressed to find a more disastrous matchup for the league than two non-traditional, relatively small markets with a serious lack of marketable superstars on the ice.
Say what you will about the Florida-Edmonton series from the past two seasons, but at least they had guys like Connor McDavid and Matthew Tkachuk as well as a traditional hockey city trying desperately to return to the mountaintop.
There was surface-level intrigue there and it made for an easy sell.
Believe it or not, despite the ratings nightmare this final poses for the NHL, there is still plenty of intrigue to be had in a Vegas-Carolina showdown.
Let's start with the players themselves.
Sure, you're missing a McDavid, or a Draisaitl, or even a Tkachuk, but there are a ton of really bright, young stars as well as established and well-known vets on both sides of the ice.

Guys like Jack Eichel, William Karlson and Mark Stone on Vegas and players like Sebastian Aho, Jacob Slavin and Seth Jarvis on Carolina are some of the best the league has to offer.
The quality of play will be at a high level when both of these teams take the ice.
I didn't even mention perhaps the most intriguing player of them all: Mitch Marner.
The former Maple Leaf was a whipping boy in Toronto whenever the Leafs couldn't get past the second round of the playoffs, but his first postseason in Vegas has been downright magical.
There's a good chance if the Golden Knights capture Lord Stanley that Marner will win the Conn Smythe, which would be such a twist of the knife to everyone back home in Toronto.
Marner going from sacrificial lamb to playoff MVP would be worth the price of admission alone.
There are also great team storylines to follow.
For Carolina, they finally got that Eastern Conference Finals monkey off their back after running into a brick wall of a Florida Panthers team in 2023 and 2025.
Although the franchise has a Stanley Cup from two decades ago, the only guy on the team with any experience from that Cup run, Rod Brind'Amour, is now sitting behind the bench with a suit and tie on.

Will the Hurricanes take advantage of finally getting over the hump in the Conference Finals?
And for Vegas, they have a budding dynasty on their hands.
The franchise has only been around for nine years, but this is already its third trip to the Stanley Cup Finals.
They lost to the Capitals in 2018 (their first year in existence) and put on a masterclass against the Panthers in 2023.
Should they win this year, they will be on the shortlist of best franchises in the last decade, as two Cups and three appearances in the Stanley Cup Finals already put them in rarefied air.
Okay, so it's not the Rangers vs. the Blackhawks or any of the other juicy matchups the league office and TV executives dream about at the start of every season, but this year's Stanley Cup Finals will still feature two great teams and plenty of interesting storylines.
If you aren't excited for the series, just say you don't like hockey.

Bill Maher says he is 'supposed to hate' LA mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt, but doesn't
Bill Maher said Friday on "Real Time with Bill Maher" that he does not dislike, Spencer Pratt, the Republican Los Angeles mayoral candidate and former reality television personality, as Pratt's campaign draws attention days before the June 2 primary.
Maher told former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy that he recently interviewed Pratt on his podcast and came away with a different impression of him.
"You know what? I know I’m supposed to hate him. I don't." Maher said.

Maher said Pratt’s campaign has become a topic of conversation in Los Angeles.
"It’s funny because he’s running as a Republican and doing quite well," Maher said. "Everybody out here is like, ‘What do you think of Spencer Pratt?’ He’s on everybody’s mind. I was asking him about that."
McCarthy, a California Republican who served as the 55th speaker of the House, pointed to Pratt’s campaign messaging.

"He runs great ads," McCarthy said.
Maher said Pratt’s outsider style stood out during their podcast conversation.
"Yeah, I mean, he’s a nice guy," Maher said. "What’s charming about him is he has no advisors. I confronted him on, like, this and this you’re going to have to think about. ‘No, I only care about the issues I care about.’ So, he’s very honest about that."

Pratt is running in the nonpartisan Los Angeles mayoral jungle primary against incumbent Mayor Bass and LA city councilwoman Nithya Raman, along with a host of other candidates polling at 5% or below. If no candidate receives the majority, the top two finishers advance to the Nov. 3 general election.
A UC Berkeley-Los Angeles Times poll released Thursday showed Bass at 26%, Raman at 25% and Pratt at 22% among likely voters, with pollsters describing Bass’ lead as statistically insignificant.
Pratt's campaign also reported raising $2.72 million between April 19 and May 16, compared with $283,000 for Bass and about $401,000 for Raman during the same period, according to campaign finance filings.
Maher also joked that Pratt, who is from California, still carries some of the state’s cultural markers.
"He’s very un-Californian in that way for a guy who’s from California," Maher said. "But then I found out he’s actually very Californian because he sells crystals."
Pratt’s campaign website says he entered politics after the 2025 Palisades fires destroyed his family home and says his platform focuses on emergency readiness, fiscal integrity, government reform and public safety.
Fox News Digital reached out to Spencer Pratt for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
