Chiefs' Super Bowl champion lineman refuses to hit panic button despite team's uphill climb to playoffs
When the final whistle blew in Denver on Sunday afternoon, the Broncos were celebrating their ninth win of the season.
Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs fell to 5-5. It's a record no one thought the reigning AFC champions would have through 11 weeks of the 2025 regular season.
But that's where these Chiefs find themselves, as they have seven games remaining on the schedule. The words "panic level" are starting to creep up on morning talk shows on television and radio, and it's fair to have the discussion.

However, Chiefs veteran center Creed Humphrey says his team won't be listening to those, or even fathoming the thought of panicking. The Chiefs may not be leading the AFC West or even in playoff position heading into Week 12, but Humphrey is confident in his group.
"I mean, for us, we have all the pieces. It’s just about executing," he told Fox News Digital, while discussing his partnership with Dairy Queen. "We need to execute better, and that’s all we know right now.
"If we do that, we’re going to like the results. So, for us, it’s about making sure we’re coming in every day, taking it one meeting at a time, one practice at a time, and just focusing on the details."

The Chiefs were quite hard on themselves following their loss to their division rival on the road. Patrick Mahomes kept using "I" when talking about what went wrong in the game, which is something he almost never does. But that's the type of accountability mixed with the frustration that Chiefs leaders like Mahomes have in moments like these.
While Kansas City has had a great deal of success in recent seasons, Humphrey knows adversity comes with what it takes to win those Super Bowl titles. So, a little self-reflection and criticism isn't a sign of the ship sailing away from that goal this season.
Humphrey thinks it's the exact opposite.
"You got to be your hardest critic. You have to look yourself in the mirror and see what’s going on. Everybody’s doing that right now, so for us, you’re not gonna put the blame on other people," he explained. "It’s, ‘What can I do better in the moment? What can I do better throughout the game to help this team win?’ I think everybody’s feeling that right now, and it’s good that no one’s pointing fingers or anything."
As Humphrey pointed out, "We've lost some close games," and it isn't just some. All of the Chiefs' five losses this season have been by seven points or fewer. And of those five, three have been by a field goal.
But the margin of error is slim every week in this league, and Humphrey knows all too well that one mistake in those critical moments can be the difference between a win and a loss.
It's understood throughout a building that understands what it takes to win titles. So, Humphrey sees no panic in these Chiefs. In fact, he knows that players must continue to be themselves.
"I think it’s important not to lose our personalities," he said. "If everybody starts being uptight, all that stuff, things aren’t going to go as well. Like you said, it’s a game we’ve all been playing since we were five, six years old. It’s about executing it and doing it with swagger.

"Just like last year, we got a lot of resilient players. A lot of guys who can do what's right in the right moments."
Humphrey's words will be put to the test this week when they host an Indianapolis Colts team that has shocked the NFL with an 8-2 record as they come off their bye week. The pressure is certainly on for Kansas City in such a tight AFC playoff push in the later weeks of the regular season, but it's not like they haven't been in this position before.
"We’re right there, it’s close, we can feel it," Humphrey said. "… It’s taking it one day at a time, one meeting at a time, one practice rep at a time, one walk-through rep at a time. All those things. It’s about living in the present — not living in the past, not looking into the future. Just looking at what’s in front of you and what your goal is for this week and that day."

As Humphrey looks to tackle the rest of the regular season and hope to make the playoffs with his Chiefs, he’s loving what Dairy Queen has going on this week.

UN ambassador explains how 'unlikely' team-up with Nicki Minaj came together for global religious freedom push
U.S. Amb. to the United Nations Mike Waltz is opening up about his unlikely partnership with rapper Nicki Minaj and how the two ended up aligned in calling attention to the persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
Minaj appeared Tuesday alongside Waltz at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations for a discussion on religious freedom around the globe, particularly in Nigeria.
"It was her responding to President Trump, but, you know — what an unlikely duo, but what an amazing duo," Waltz said Tuesday on "The Faulkner Focus."
"She’s one of the most followed people in the world, and of course, he’s the most famous world leader," he added.

Minaj first got involved in the issue several weeks ago when she publicly thanked President Donald Trump for highlighting the plight facing Christians in Nigeria.
"Reading this made me feel a deep sense of gratitude. We live in a country where we can freely worship God," Minaj wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
"No group should ever be persecuted for practicing their religion. We don’t have to share the same beliefs in order for us to respect each other."
Her post came after Trump renewed his call to take action on the crisis in Nigeria. The president designated Nigeria a "country of particular concern."
Waltz said political strategist Alex Bruesewitz first floated the idea of a collaboration with Minaj, prompting him to reach out. He said to their "astonishment," Minaj agreed.

"Importantly, she is reaching a whole other swath of people who may not follow these issues," Waltz pointed out.
Reports have detailed entire villages burned down, worshippers attacked during services and thousands displaced by Islamist groups targeting Christian communities.
In an X post about being invited to speak at the U.N., Minaj thanked Waltz and said she was "grateful to be entrusted with an opportunity of this magnitude."
‘Real Housewives’ stars Kathy Hilton, Sutton Stracke targeted in separate home burglaries
"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars Kathy Hilton and Sutton Stracke's homes were broken into while the two were away at BravoCon for the weekend.
Stracke's home was targeted around 11:54 a.m. Nov. 15, the Los Angeles Police Department told Fox News Digital.
"The individuals involved entered through a kitchen window and stole all of my luxury handbags, including pieces from Hermès, Chanel and other designers. They also took my fine jewelry," Stracke said in a statement to NBC News.
"I am cooperating fully with authorities as they continue their investigation."

Hilton's home was broken into around 11:48 p.m. that same Saturday, the LAPD told Fox News Digital. The suspect or suspects were gone before police arrived. Officers checked the home and surrounding area, but no suspects were located. It's unclear what, if anything, was taken.
"There was a break-in," a spokesperson for Hilton confirmed to NBC. "Everyone is fine."
The reality star's husband, Rick Hilton, was reportedly home at the time. TMZ reported Rick called 911 to report three burglars inside the residence. He was reportedly inside the home when he called to report the ongoing burglary.
Saturday’s burglaries followed an attempted break-in at fellow "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Teddi Mellencamp’s home in July.

The fellow "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star shared security footage of three men dressed in black hoodies jumping over the gate at the front of her property and across her driveway.
A second clip showed the three men making their way across the yard on the side of the house before quickly returning to the front of the house and fleeing the property.
"We are grateful that everyone is unharmed," she said in a statement shared with Fox News Digital. "While we are shaken, we are fortunate to have the latest in home security systems, which scared off the intruders. Authorities were alerted and swiftly responded. We appreciate everyone’s heightened concern in light of recent criminal activities in our area, but we are safe."

The "Real Housewives" break-ins are part of a larger string of celebrity home break-ins.
Celebrities, including Brad Pitt and Lionel Richie, have also been victims of recent burglaries.
The LAPD previously confirmed to Fox News Digital that four individuals were taken into custody in the burglary at a residence believed to belong to Pitt in August.
According to a police report, three suspects scaled a fence, entered the yard and broke in through a front window in May. They then "ransacked" the property and fled with various items, police said.

The House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly to force the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
It was the product of a months-long pressure campaign by Democrats and the bill's leaders, Reps. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., and Ro Khanna, D-Calif.
Several of Epstein's survivors were present in the House chamber during the vote as well and appeared to erupt in cheers when the resolution passed.
All but one House lawmaker present in the chamber voted in favor of the bill, which passed 427 to 1. The lone "no" vote was Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., who posted on X shortly thereafter to explain his decision…READ MORE.

Ohio police address Browns QB Shedeur Sanders' home invasion that resulted in $200K in stolen items
The Medina County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio said $200,000 in stolen goods was taken from the home of Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders after three masked suspects broke into his home Sunday.
"Surveillance cameras in the residence were able to capture video footage of the suspects as they entered and exited different portions of the home," the office said in a statement provided to Fox News Digital. "The suspects were wearing masks and gloves and can be seen exiting the residence at approximately 6:58 p.m. with various property belonging to Mr. Sanders.
"It is estimated that approximately $200,000 in property was stolen."

A parole report by officer Charles Johnson, obtained by Fox News Digital, claimed that the victim in question, "requested this incident be kept from the media if possible."
Johnson's report states that three suspects ransacked a bedroom, rifled through nightstands and closets, and used cellphone flashlights as they moved through the home, and that footage reviewed by investigators showed the trio leaving the house, carrying multiple bags before disappearing into the nearby woods.
Sanders was playing for the Browns, making his NFL regular season debut on Sunday.

During the Browns’ 23-17 defeat, Sanders came in after starter Dillon Gabriel suffered a concussion. Sanders went 4-of-16 for 47 yards with one interception. He was also sacked twice by the Ravens.
Multiple high-profile athletes have suffered home invasions during their games in recent years.
In the NFL, fellow quarterbacks Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs had their homes broken into last season.
Travis Kelce, Mahomes’ Chiefs teammate, also had a break-in the same day as his quarterback while they were at a game. Four Chilean nationals were arrested in the burglary, and authorities released a photo of them posing with the stolen accessories.

Senate unanimously agrees to send bill demanding Epstein file release to Trump's desk
No Senate Republicans blocked an attempt to force a vote on a resolution that would compel the release of documents and files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., made good on his vow to force a vote on the resolution just hours after it passed through the House behind a near unanimous wave of support.
Schumer argued on the floor that the Senate "should pass this bill as soon as possible, as written and without a hint of delay."
"Republicans must not try to change this bill or bury it in committee, or slow walk it in any way," he said. "Any amendment to this bill would force it back to the House and risk further delay. Who knows what would happen over there?"
HOUSE VOTES OVERWHELMINGLY TO FORCE DOJ TO RELEASE JEFFREY EPSTEIN FILES
Now, as soon as the House transfers the bill to the Senate, it will go straight to President Donald Trump's desk for his signature.
The resolution from Reps. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., and Ro Khanna, D-Calif., would require that the Department of Justice (DOJ) release all unclassified records, documents, communications and investigative materials "publicly available in a searchable and downloadable format" related to the late financier and convicted pedophile and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell within 30 days of the bill being signed into law.
The Epstein fervor has not had nearly the impact in the Senate as the House, which was thrust into chaos by the bipartisan push to see the release of the files. Earlier this year, House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., put the House into recess to quell the Epstein drama and has since been accused of running from a vote on the issue.
KHANNA, MASSIE, GREENE URGE SENATE TO PASS EPSTEIN BILL UNCHANGED, WARN OF ‘RECKONING’
Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., said that Republicans were already mulling the bill through the hotline process, which is where legislation is considered among lawmakers before making it to the floor. Thune said the plan, if the bill clears the hotline, would be to have it on the floor before lawmakers leave for Thanksgiving recess at the end of this week.
"We'll see what the Democrats have to say," he said. "But it's the kind of thing, probably, that could perhaps move by unanimous consent."
That ended up not being necessary, with bill making its way through the upper chamber without a full vote.
The calculus surrounding the Epstein bill changed in the Senate, too, given that President Donald Trump, who for months railed against attempts to release the files, threw his support behind Massie and Khanna’s legislation over the weekend.
He charged that it was a "Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party."

"Nobody cared about Jeffrey Epstein when he was alive and, if the Democrats had anything, they would have released it before our Landslide Election Victory," he said in a post on Truth Social.
Senate Republicans, like their counterparts in the House, wanted more transparency on the issue when the Epstein saga resurfaced over the summer but cautioned that no materials should be released until the names or identifying traits of victims are combed through and kept safe.
But, despite calls from Johnson to amend the bill to include those kinds of guardrails in the legislation, it's unlikely to happen in the Senate.
"I think when a bill comes out of the House 427 to one, and the president said he'd sign it, I'm not sure that amending it is in the cards," Thune said.
Former Obama staffer, ex-congressman among candidates in crowded Democrat primary for Mikie Sherrill's seat
As Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill, D-N.J., prepares to resign her congressional seat, a crowded Democrat primary stable has emerged with nearly a dozen hopefuls ranging from moderate establishment types to far-left candidates.
Sherrill, who represents New Jersey's 11th District in the House of Representatives, was elected governor of the Garden State during the recent Election Day Democratic sweep in blue states and cities nationwide.
Her resignation, as yet unscheduled, will trigger a special election for the House seat. Eleven candidates have expressed interest in the race, including former Obama administration staffer Cammie Croft, former House Rep. Tom Malinowski, and Governor Murphy-endorsed Brendan Gill, his former campaign manager.
Cammie Croft called on Gov. Murphy in a statement just days after Sherrill won the governorship to set up a date for a special election.
FORMER HOUSE DEMOCRAT TARGETS TRUMP IN BID FOR POLITICAL COMEBACK
"In these extraordinary times, New Jersey’s 11th District deserves representation in Washington — not weeks or months of uncertainty," said Croft. "Just like the governor-elect has in Congress, the residents of this district need someone in Washington fighting like heck to bring down the cost of groceries, energy, and healthcare and rein in the Trump administration’s abusive and corrupt policies."
According to FEC filings, Croft has $176,000 cash on hand by the Sept. 30 filing date. In those same filings, Morris Township mayor and candidate Jeff Grayzel has over $310,000 cash on hand.
"I am 100% in the race," Grayzel told the New Jersey Globe. "My full intention is to run for the seat should Mikie win the election, as many believe she will. The timeline for a special election in early 2026 is already very short, and planning for this kind of race takes time."
DEM REP MIKIE SHERRILL SKIPS 145 HOUSE VOTES AS NJ GOVERNOR'S RACE HEATS UP
Former House Rep. Tom Malinowski has also thrown his proverbial hat in the ring and is especially active on social media. While not living in NJ-11, Malinowski has pledged to move into the district should he win the special election, according to reporting from the Washington Examiner.
Sen. Andy Kim, D-N.J., endorsed Tom Malinowski via X in a video posted on Nov. 17.
"I’m happy to endorse Tom Malinowski for Congress! I’ve known Tom for over 12 yrs, far longer than anyone else I know in Jersey politics, when we worked under President Obama," the senator wrote. "Politics right now needs courage. People able to stand against the pressures of politics and special interests. @Malinowski has shown that in his actions."
Malinowski, a former House Rep. for New Jersey's seventh District, lost his seat when the area was redistricted to include much of NJ-11.
NEW JERSEY DEMOCRATIC GOVERNOR HOPEFUL ATTENDS 'NO KINGS' PROTEST, VOWS TO FIGHT TRUMP 'TOOTH AND NAIL'
The former representative all but asked for Sherrill's endorsement in a campaign video posted to X earlier this month announcing his run.
"I'm running for Congress again to pick up where my friend Mikie Sherrill left off," Malinowski said in the video.
Governor-elect Sherrill's office did not offer comment to Fox News Digital on any plans to endorse Malinowski or any other candidate.
Essex County Commissioner Brendan Gill has the endorsement of over 60 Democrats in the county, according to reporting from the New Jersey Globe, and enters a crowded field as a well-established party operative.
"I’m running for Congress because our president, enabled by bootlickers in Congress and Wall Street, is wreaking havoc on our streets, hollowing out our economy, tearing down our American values. I’m running to fight back against Donald Trump and his crooked buddies and to make sure that everyone has a place at the table," Gill stated in a campaign video.
John Bartlett, the only other candidate with a sizable war chest, according to FEC filings, still had around $200,000 left over from his 2018 House run, which was unsuccessful at the time. He serves as a commissioner in Passaic County.
The FEC also notes Democrat candidates Anna Lee Williams, Justin Strickland and Marc Chaaban. There is only one Republican listed in the race in the FEC filings — Joe Hathaway, mayor of Randolph Township.
"Thank you, New Jersey," Governor-elect Sherrill wrote in a post on Nov. 12. "Next week, I intend to submit my resignation in order to serve as your 57th governor.
"To my House colleagues: Do not become a rubber stamp for an agenda to take food and healthcare away from kids. To the country: Stand strong. Don’t give up the ship."
Sherrill won the district in 2024 with a healthy lead, receiving 56.34% of the vote, according to the New Jersey State Board of Elections. The Cook Political Report has designated New Jersey 11 as "Solid D."
The primary does not yet have a set date.
The office of Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
Biden’s Saudi fist bump drew heat in 2022 — Trump just rolled out the red carpet
President Donald Trump made a point to shake the hand of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House Tuesday in a warm welcome — in contrast to former President Joe Biden, who came under scrutiny for fist-bumping the Saudi prince in 2022.
Biden’s fist bump occurred during a trip to Saudi Arabia in July 2022, and attracted criticism due to U.S. intelligence reports that indicated that bin Salman signed off on the 2018 assassination of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
But when bin Salman arrived at the White House Tuesday, Trump indicated that the Saudi prince deserved a more formal greeting.
"And Trump doesn't give a fist pump. I grab that hand," Trump told reporters Tuesday. "I don't give a hell where that hand’s been, I grab that hand. Remember Biden? He travels for 20 hours, he gets out and he gives a fist bump. No. When you get out of the plane and you got the future king and the man who is one of the most respected people in the world, you shake his hand, you don't give him a fist bump, right?"
"We don't want to ask you about that," Trump said, referencing bin Salman. "But I can't imagine you were thrilled."
The Saudi leader’s arrival Tuesday came with full pageantry. A red carpet rolled across the South Lawn, military honor guard and an Air Force flyover underscored the formal state-level welcome.
Biden’s 2022 fist bump with bin Salman occurred as he stepped out of a vehicle outside the Al Salam Royal Palace in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Afterward, Biden brushed off questions about the interaction from reporters, but told them he suggested to bin Salman that he believed the crown prince was "responsible" for Khashoggi’s death.
The exchange prompted former Washington Post publisher Fred Ryan to characterize the gesture as more offensive than a handshake.
"The fist bump between President Biden and Mohammed bin Salman was worse than a handshake — it was shameful," Ryan said in a statement. "It projected a level of intimacy and comfort that delivers to MBS the unwarranted redemption he has been desperately seeking."
More than a year later, in September 2023, Biden shook hands with bin Salman when they met in person at the G20 global economic summit in New Delhi.
U.S. intelligence agencies concluded in 2021 that bin Salman gave the green light on the operation that took Khashoggi’s life. Khashoggi, a Saudi dissident, was brutally murdered in Istanbul at the Saudi consulate in 2018.
Still, bin Salman has denied the veracity of those reports. When asked Tuesday about Khashoggi, bin Salman said that it’s "painful" to hear of the death of anyone for "no real purpose," and said that "we are doing our best that this doesn't happen again."
Trump also came to defend bin Salman Tuesday, and accused a reporter who asked about U.S. intelligence reports linking the prince to Khashoggi’s death of embarrassing bin Salman.
"A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about," Trump said Tuesday. "Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen, but he knew nothing about it. And would you leave it at that? You don't have to embarrass our guest by asking a question."
Fox News Digital reached out to Biden's office for comment and has not yet received a reply.

The Department of Energy announced Tuesday a cash infusion in the form of a $1 billion loan to Baltimore-based Constellation Energy to restart a nuclear reactor at the site that has the potential to better secure the Mid-Atlantic grid and power as many as 800,000 homes on renewable power.
The Three Mile Island site in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania melted down in 1979 when a loss-of-coolant malfunction released radioactive iodine, but one of the reactors remained operational for several years. No one was injured in the original incident.
"One of the biggest challenges American people have faced over the last several years has been the rising price of electricity ... and when we arrived; the Trump administration; in town there were plans to close 100gW more of affordable, reliable, secure dispatchable electricity generation," Energy Secretary Chris Wright said.
"We want to bring as much net addition of dispatchable, reliable electricity onto the grid to stop these price rises in electricity and increase American capacity to generate firm, reliable, electricity so we can reassure manufacturing in our country, and we can stay ahead in the AI race," Wright said.
While Reactor Unit Two has remained offline since its malfunction that March morning, Reactor Unit One kept running until the 2010s, when its owners shut it down, citing primarily economic reasons. Unit One will be the reactor utilized in the future.
Constellation Energy previously announced it had hoped to use the site in the future to power AI data centers after forging a deal with Microsoft.

In July, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission held a public meeting at Penn State—Harrisburg to discuss reopening the facility, now called the Crane Clean Energy Center.
Energy Department Loan Programs Office director Greg Beard told reporters Tuesday that a $1 billion loan has been extended to Constellation to restart what was Three Mile Island.
Beard said the 800MW potential of the site is crucial to supporting regional power grid facilitator PJM with "stable, affordable baseload power."

Beard said the project could come to fruition as early as 2027.
Wright said some of America's biggest energy challenges come in terms of affordability with rising utility rates for the past several years.
When Trump took office, he said, he reversed previously ongoing efforts to close up as much as 100gW of affordable and reliable energy through coal and gas, while adding several nuclear plants closed during the Biden years. The secretary called the Three Mile Island project "exactly what America needs" and proof the Trump administration is looking at an all-of-the-above approach to American energy dominance.
Beard added there is an "active pipeline" of applications to his office for support for future nuclear, coal, oil, gas and critical minerals projects – and that his office is actively seeking and reviewing projects that can reinvigorate the energy supply chain.

Constellation signed a 20-year lease agreement for the Three Mile Island site in late 2024, and renamed it after former CEO Christopher Crane.
The effort to reopen the once-infamous site in the middle of the Susquehanna River upstream from Columbia and downstream from Lemoyne also has bipartisan support.
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro previously called the state’s nuclear industry a key player in green energy.
"[It provides] carbon-free electricity that helps reduce emissions and grow Pennsylvania’s economy," he said.
CJ Stroud ruled out with concussion ahead of Texans' pivotal showdown vs Bills
The Houston Texans will be without starting quarterback C.J. Stroud in their pivotal matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday.
Head coach DeMeco Ryans told reporters on Tuesday that Stroud is doing better and progressing, but there isn't enough time for the quarterback to clear concussion protocol with the short turnaround.
Stroud, 24, will miss his third straight game after sustaining a concussion in the team’s 18-15 loss to the Denver Broncos earlier this month. Backup quarterback Davis Mills has been starting in place of Stroud, and is 2-0.

Mills led a thrilling fourth quarter comeback against the Jacksonville Jaguars in his first start. The 27-year-old completed 27 of 45 passes for 292 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the win, while running for 20 yards and a touchdown in the 36-29 win.
In Mills’ second start, the Texans barely sneaked by the lowly Tennessee Titans, beating them 16-13 to improve to 5-5 on the season. Mills completed 26 of 41 passes for 174 yards and a touchdown.

While Mills has played well and kept the Texans in the playoff hunt, the team hopes Stroud continues to progress through the concussion protocol. If all goes well for the former Ohio State star, he could return for the team’s Week 13 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
In eight games this season, Stroud has completed 66.5% of his passes for 1,702 yards with 11 touchdowns and five interceptions.
The Texans are one game behind the Jacksonville Jaguars (6-4) for the No. 7 seed in the AFC playoffs and need to get hot down the stretch to make the postseason.
The Texans’ playoff push will continue on Thursday when they take on the Bills (7-3) without Stroud at 8:15 p.m. ET.
