Tulsi Gabbard gives promising, emotional update on husband's successful bone cancer surgery
Tulsi Gabbard delivered a hopeful and emotional message in a video posted to X on Thursday morning, updating the success of her husband Abraham Williams' bone cancer surgery for sacral chordoma, an extremely rare cancer, and giving an update on the challenges of his recovery.
"A few weeks after the surgery was done, the pathologist and the doctors said that they are confident that they were able to cut out all of the cancerous bone and tissue," Gabbard said in a 3-minute video. "So here we are now, almost three months after, and he started a very rigorous physical therapy program."
"He gets frustrated a lot because he wants to be able to make progress faster, and sometimes he's pushed a little bit too far, but overall, Abraham is progressing very well," Gabbard continued. "The reality is that the battle isn't over yet."

Gabbard announced her resignation in May from the Trump administration as director of national intelligence to support her husband's cancer fight. She officially stepped down from President Donald Trump's Cabinet at the end of June.
"We are so grateful to God for His unconditional love, for being our shelter, for being our peace and our strength," Gabbard said at the end of the video.
"We want to say thank you to the doctors, the surgeon, the pathologist, the anesthesiologist. We want say thank to all of you sharing the most beautiful prayers and well wishes with us. Mahalo nui loa to you all."
She was joined on camera with a tight, loving hug from Abraham.

"Love you, darlin'," he said.
"I love you," she replied.
The video detailed the nature of the surgery and treatment options of what she called a "one in a million type of cancer."
"Earlier this year, my husband Abraham was diagnosed with cancer," she began in the video. "I picked up the phone, and Abraham's voice was different. He said that he got a call from his doctor, and the doctor told him that he has sacral chordoma, very, very rare, one in a million type of cancer."

She said they elected the surgery over radiation, with the video showing the tender moments before he went "under heavy anesthesia for almost eight hours."
"His body, as he started to come out, started reacting to the drugs that were in his body," she continued. "It was tough."
"So that night, more than a few times, Abraham said, I want to get up. He had some help from some great nurses to just start very, very slowly walking around," she recalled. "He would take a few steps. He would throw up as he was trying to walk around, but he kept going."

Abraham also "refused to take any narcotic pain medication," she added, "so he really had to push through the post-operative pain."
For now, Gabbard reports that her husband is cancer free, but that is going to be continued to be monitored.
"You'll have to continue to get frequent MRIs to keep an eye on whether or not this cancer is coming back either in the same place or in other parts of his body," she said.
A sacral chordoma is a rare, slow-growing cancerous bone tumor that develops in the sacrum, the triangular bone at the base of the spine above the tailbone.
"This has been a challenging time for us and is hard to talk about," Gabbard wrote on X, sharing the video. "But so many of you have reached out asking how he’s doing, and sharing your prayers and well wishes with us.
"We made this video to share a little about what this journey has been like, and to update you on his recovery. Mahalo for all of the love and support."
Marc Jacobs says he'd dress Luigi Mangione at trial in podcast interview with fashion designer
Fashion designer Marc Jacobs said in a new interview that he'd be open to styling the confessed assassin Luigi Mangione at trial — and that the killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson is doing a fine job as a "trendsetter" while dressing himself already.
In a sitdown with Vanity Fair's Lie Detector Test podcast, the host noted that celebrities including Winona Rider, Courtney Love and Lil' Kim had all worn Jacobs' designs in court in the early 2000s. Then she slid him a photo of Mangione and asked, "Would you be open to styling this person for his trial?"
Jacobs, wearing a black Lacoste shirt, laughed as he looked at the photo, then replied, "Um... yes."

"I think he looks pretty good the way he dresses, actually," the designer said.
Trial fashion can draw a lot of attention, going back to OJ Simpson's so-called trial of the century in the mid-1990s, which was televised and involved the most famous American ever charged with murder at the time.
Donna Rotunno, a criminal defense attorney and Fox News contributor, said the media's treatment of Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney Marcia Clark during Simpson's trial influenced her courtroom style choices when she represented Harvey Weinstein. Still, she said, she was disappointed to see public support for an admitted killer like Mangione.
"I find it sad," she said in an interview Thursday. "I find that sad that a designer would in any way, shape or form want to support that."
Mangione has admitted to stalking Thompson, a 50-year-old father of two, from Minnesota to New York City, where he shot him in the back on Dec. 4, 2024.
His fashion choices have made headlines ever since — beginning with the high-end backpack he allegedly ditched in Central Park while fleeing the crime scene. In March 2025, he showed up in the courtroom wearing Rockport loafers and no socks — a detail that a photographer captured in a picture showing shackles around his bare ankles.

Later, prosecutors revealed that someone had slipped Mangione a pair of heart-shaped notes hidden within a pair of socks sent to the court along with other clothes he wore for the hearing. (Only one of the notes was addressed to Mangoine — the other was meant for someone named "Joan.")
"He’s kind of become a character and this cult hero to some people, and it’s pretty sad to see," Rotunno said.
A court officer seized the notes but allowed Mangione to wear the socks. However, "he felt that ‘they did not look good’" and took them off, according to prosecutors.
Mangione, however, may end up wearing a jail jumpsuit for the rest of his life after he pleaded guilty to federal charges last week. As a result, his state case may come to an end without trial if his defense team's double jeopardy claim succeeds in court.
He faces a maximum punishment of life in prison at his sentencing on Dec. 18, but it's up to Judge Margaret Garnett. Federal sentencing guidelines recommend around 25 to 30 years, and Garnett is not bound by those either.
"So the fact that you would have any designer coming out saying that he would dress him or be happy to dress him, I think is pretty tone deaf," Rotunno said.
If he does end up having a state trial, it could be the last time he's seen wearing street clothes, she said. But even so, she urged his defense team to walk a fine line.
"I also think you have to be careful in front of juries," she said. "You dress up Luigi Mangione too much, and maybe he loses some of the sympathy that people have for him."
Jacobs was hooked up to a lie detector test during his podcast interview.
The host noted that after Mangione wore a red sweater in court, it sold out at Nordstrom stores. "Does this make him a trendsetter?"
"Yes," Jacobs agreed.

Then she asked if he was offended that Gwyneth Paltrow didn't wear any of his designs at her own eight-day trial in 2023, after a retired optometrist unsuccessfully sued her over a ski crash in Park City, Utah.
"No," he said.
"He's being truthful," the polygrapher added.
A spokesperson for Jacobs did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Alex Murdaugh defense team lied about polygraph results, prosecutors allege in new filing
A new court filing reveals the defense team for Alex Murdaugh, who was previously convicted of murdering his wife and son, may have lied about his polygraph test results.
The Wednesday filing in Colleton County, South Carolina, details state prosecutors' allegations against Murdaugh's attorney, Dick Harpootlian.
Murdaugh was convicted of the murders and sentenced to two consecutive life terms in 2023; those convictions were overturned in May of this year after a court clerk named Becky Hill was found to have improperly influenced jurors.

During an Aug. 14 hearing, Harpootlian said, "Mr. Murdaugh passed a polygraph. Flying colors. Same polygrapher. It may play a role in this trial."

Prosecutors argue that when Murdaugh was initially tried in 2023, he never took a polygraph, or lie-detector, test.
The time that he did in fact take a lie-detector test was after the trial in the fall of 2023. He took the test with the FBI when he was under investigation for serious financial crimes.

The new document says:
"Defense council’s claim on the record at the hearing that defendant Alex Murdaugh passed a SLED [South Carolina Law Enforcement Division] polygraph as to the murders, much less than any governmental polygraph on any subject, is categorically false, and clearly said for no other reason that an attempt to prejudice this court and the public."

In response to the state's filing, Harpootlian emailed a letter to Judge Debra McCaslin on Thursday saying that he incorrectly stated in court that Murdaugh had taken a polygraph and passed "with flying colors," saying he had mistakenly conflated several facts.
Harpootlian said, "I want to offer my apology to both the court and state for any confusion I may have caused."

Murdaugh is scheduled for his new trial in April of next year. That trial will not take place in Colleton County.
On Friday, McCaslin ruled the retrial must move out of Colleton County, but she did not yet mention a new location.
It's possible the retrial could be in Richland County, as Murdaugh's defense recently pressed to move it – arguing the possibility of a larger jury pool in a new location.

Clark Lea thought Vanderbilt had no shot at Jared Curtis — but the 5-Star 'misfit' chose to flip the script
What if I told you that Vanderbilt quarterback Jared Curtis took a different route in deciding where he wanted to play college football, with a school that put zero resources into recruiting him until one phone call changed the future for Clark Lea?
And what would you think, as schools roll out the red carpet and do anything necessary to land a coveted prospect, if it was actually the player who recruited the school?
A nonconventional recruitment, like the one that took place with Jared Curtis, is rare in this era of college athletics, especially when money is such a driving force in schools staking their claim to industry rankings.
Whether it's private jet hours, parents securing houses, exotic cars or even schools offering real estate offerings to a recruit in the hopes of a signature, we entered uncharted waters over five years ago with the inception of NIL.
But in the rare instance of the highly-touted quarterback's recruitment, money was the last thing discussed during a recruitment process that left those on West End, and college football, a bit stunned at how this all came together.
It's one thing to just throw out an offer to a highly touted prospect to get your school's name on the list. It's another thing to actually find out that this potential five-star quarterback is sincerely interested in your school
In fact, Lea was not going to waste his staff's time in pursuing a kid he knew there was no shot in landing.
The reality for Vanderbilt was that in the grand scheme of things, even with all of the momentum created over the previous two years, Curtis was the prize recruit that seemed so far off their radar that inviting him out to practice was most likely the closest they'd get to having him around campus.
"We really didn’t recruit Jared. Not that we wouldn’t have recruited him, but part of being effective is elimination. You don't wanna chase things that aren’t gonna happen," Lea mentioned earlier this summer to OutKick about Jared. "He came to a Tuesday practice the week we were playing Tennessee in 2024.

"That was really kind of it in terms of seeing him and interacting, and even on that day I don't know that I spent that much time with them, outside of sitting in the team meeting."
All of this came during a time in which Curtis de-committed from Georgia, was lured to Oregon for a short time period, then re-committed to Georgia.
All the while, Vanderbilt was still on the outside, not even thinking they had shot to get on his radar outside of a random appearance at practice like any other recruit.
There might have been a visit to practice, but it wasn’t as if Vanderbilt was under the impression that the five-star quarterback who was garnering headlines due to his talent and subsequent recruiting process with Oregon and Georgia.
But, what Vanderbilt would soon find out was that Curtis was not actually fully invested in leaving his city behind to play at Georgia.
"I think the starting point really was about Jared being unsettled and trying to find a place he really felt great about I think he loved Oregon and loved Georgia. But, he was unsettled. We didn’t put much time and attention to it, we just focused on growing our program
"He was paying attention, then kind of organically reached out and said 'I'd like to come and spend some time at practice," Lea recalled.

What turned into Jared showing up for a practice during Vanderbilt's bye week after losing to Alabama in 2025 blossomed into something the Commodores coaching staff did not see coming.
It was actually Diego Pavia going to watch a friend of the family play high school football on a Friday night that had Vanderbilt coaches starting to change their tune, just a bit.
Following that game, which had Pavia marveling at the talent of Curtis, a late-night phone call to his offensive coordinator Tim Beck put the wheels in motion for a story nobody in the high school football world thought was possible, especially those around the Georgia campus.
"Diego goes to one of his games on a Friday night," Tim Beck recalled. "Diego calls me that night, and he says, 'Hey, man, you got to see this kid'. I go, 'Yeah, we know about him, we know about him, Diego'. He (Diego) didn't think we knew about him. It's like, 'yeah Diego, we know about him, but he's not interested in us, he's committed to Georgia'. And he goes, "Well, I talked to him. I think he's interested'."
As for that next morning, after the late-night call from a stunned Pavia, Beck would come to find out that not only was Jared Curtis interested in the Commodores, he made it a priority to pay attention to what Vanderbilt was doing on the field.
"He really didn't have a favorite team that he was. He really didn't have a favorite player that he watched," Beck told OutKick. "And so, I called Jared the next morning, on a Saturday morning, and I talked to him a little bit, and one of the first things i said is, 'Hey, I know you, you haven't been really been watching much ball, but I was just curious'.
"And before I got through my sentence, he stopped me and said, 'Coach, I got to be honest with you, the only team I've watched this year has been Vanderbilt'."
For Lea, running an authentic program, especially when it comes to recruiting, has always been at the forefront of his conversations with recruits.
While some players are rightfully chasing the money, Vanderbilt's coach knew that there had to be more than just finances and merely getting along with Curtis.
"There's something inauthentic about a full-court press when you haven’t had a relationship," Lea told OutKick. "I want to be authentic and genuine in the way we're presented.
"So, my conversations with him were about 'Hey, I think this can be a really great thing for the both of us. Here’s the ways I think it benefits Vanderbilt, and here's the way I think it benefits you. I don't want you to do it unless you believe in it wholeheartedly because this is going to be too hard'."
There weren’t conversations that started about how much it would take from a financial standpoint to land Curtis.
In reality, there was still hesitation from those within the Vanderbilt stratosphere to even engage with Jared's NIL rep, Peter Webb.
But, if Vanderbilt was going to swim in the deep end of the pool related to NIL in college football with such a highly-touted prospect, they had to dive head first.
So, when noted attorney Ryan Downton and his highly regarded, successful wife, Pearl Downton, decided it was time to invest their time into the NIL space of college athletics, they needed to know Curtis was first making the decision to attend Vanderbilt for the right reasons.
There were no monetary offers when the quarterback started to engage with Vanderbilt on a more consistent basis, which came when the Commodores hosted Missouri last season, which also brought "College Gameday" come to town.
In fact, the Downtons had not even thought about starting an NIL IP entity that could help Vanderbilt athletes, even though they were fully-engaged as donors and fans of the program.
But, once they knew this wasn’t just a ploy from Curtis to drive up the price and that the five-star actually wanted to stay in Nashville to create his own legacy like the one he was witnessing Pavia put a bow on, it was time for the family to start making calls.
First, it was Jay Cutler, who just happened to be their next door neighbor. Once the former Vanderbilt quarterback was in, then it was time to call noted Nashvillian Nate Bargatze. It just so happened that Bargatze was already in, having mentioned on "College Gameday" that Curtis would be invited to have a small role in a movie he was starring in.
Add in Vanderbilt graduate Griffin Perry, who is the co-founder and senior adviser at Grey Rock Investment Partners, along with being the co-founder at Fermi America, the Commodores have plenty of financial resources to play the NIL game in college athletics.
But, this wasn’t some wild offer to persuade a high school kid to attend Vanderbilt. This was a group of dedicated fans who were trying to do their part in helping Lea continue growing the Vanderbilt football program.
It's different on West End. There is a newfound sense of pride within the city of Nashville, thanks to what Clark Lea is doing, along with a quarterback in Pavia who drew the attention of college football fans across the country. Now, whether you liked his antics is another story. But to those who have been praying for times like these, they were all-in with their unwavering support.

After representing Pavia in his lawsuit against the NCAA to gain an additional year of eligibility, the Downtons decided it was time to once again pull together the support needed to make sure Vanderbilt was in a great position for the future.
A FaceTime conversation with Bargatze while on a jet to watch Vanderbilt take on Tennessee in Knoxville, followed by meetings with Jared Curtis' NIL representative Peter Webb, all led to Vanderbilt pulling off the 'heist' that had folks at Georgia scratching their heads.
And while there will be folks who think a multiyear contract worth $10 million was the sole reason why Jared Curtis decided to stay home and play for Vanderbilt, it actually had nothing to do with money.
Sure, one of the top players in the country is going to garner a very large financial offer, that's a given. But, having an athlete make a decision on their own, without the family trying to play such a large part in the recruitment is becoming rarer by the day.
In college athletics, the schools are recruiting the family sometimes harder than the actual player, which obviously puts the athlete in a rather awkward position of not wanting to disappoint those closest to them.
"He's gotta wanna come here. We were not going to chase after him..Jared had to decide, on his own," Tsunami Dores' CEO Pearl Downton told OutKick. "I don't think it was a way he had ever been recruited before (in the process). He has to decide he wants to come to Vanderbilt, and he's gotta decide that he's a misfit
"In terms of being a misfit, there's nothing more misfit than turning down one of the top programs in the country to come to Vanderbilt."
The opportunity to play at Georgia was obviously enticing, and almost happened. But, Jared Curtis saw what was continuing to be built on West End.
He wanted the opportunity to try and help Lea continue building on the foundation laid by those that came before him, which at his position were players like Cutler and Pavia.
Success won't happen overnight. Who knows, it might not ever happen for Curtis. Nobody can predict the future, and he's an 18-year-old athlete.
But like many others have mentioned to me over the past seven months since he chose to wear a Commodores jersey, Curtis decided where HE wanted to attend college and continue his career.
The money was going to be there at any school he chose. But now, Curtis gets to continue building upon the No. 2 jersey that was worn by Pavia.
"I think it's absolutely unique in terms of a recruiting process ... I've really enjoyed that person. He's a good kid. Humble, modest, hard working, simple," Lea said. "He's a really good representation of who we are."

"These are tough members. And these are members who have been working with President Trump to make life more affordable for families all across America, running against socialists," Scalise said. "Socialists who wanna raise taxes, open the border back up again, bring criminals back in."

"We've got seats in Texas and Ohio and Florida — so many other places where we have an opportunity to flip seats from Democrat to Republican because people are rejecting this crazy extreme socialism on the left."

Family checks Las Vegas morgues in desperate search for missing New York grandmother
The daughter of a New York grandmother who vanished while visiting Las Vegas nearly two weeks ago has traveled across the country to search for her mother, checking hospitals and morgues as the family grows increasingly desperate for answers.
Alisa Goods, a 63-year-old grandmother of five, was reported missing Aug. 10, two days after she was last seen while visiting a longtime friend in Las Vegas, according to her family.
"We have checked hospitals," Goods’ daughter, Kristen Goods, told FOX5 Vegas. "We have checked morgues."
Kristen traveled from New Jersey to Nevada to help search for her mother.
"I’m extremely worried," she told the station.
Goods had been staying with Roger John, a friend of about 20 years whom she had visited in Las Vegas many times before, according to her family.
John previously told KLAS-TV that Goods left his apartment around 12:45 p.m. Aug. 8 to take a bus to a nearby CVS to go shopping.
"Last I saw her, she was going down the stairs. And I said, ‘OK, see you later,’ And that’s the last time I saw her," John told the station.
Goods' family told FOX5 she was later seen at a store near Paradise and Flamingo roads, where she bought supplements and water.
Kristen said she did not see the CVS surveillance video but spoke with the store manager about her mother's visit.
"I did not see the CVS footage myself, but I was privy to some of the footage," Kristen said. "By talking to the CVS manager that she was there."
Goods never returned to her friend's home after the shopping trip.
John notified Goods' family that evening and filed a missing person report two days later, according to FOX5.
The family said they initially had questions about John but stressed that police do not consider him a suspect.
"To us, he is not a threat, and he’s also been cleared by the police," Kristen told the station. "There isn’t anything to investigate in terms of his knowledge."
Kristen said she is frustrated that surveillance cameras have not provided more clues about where her mother went.
"I’m extremely frustrated because I would think that this town would have so much more surveillance because it’s such a bustling area," Kristen said. "I would think that there was a way for facial recognition to be able to locate someone."
The family also does not believe Goods could have traveled far on foot. They said she recently underwent several leg surgeries that make it difficult for her to walk for long periods.
Police searched within a 20-mile radius of where Goods was last seen, according to FOX5. Family members have also posted flyers throughout the area hoping someone would recognize her.
Days after Goods disappeared, her family began receiving text messages from her phone asking for money and eventually Bitcoin.
The family said it does not know who sent the messages or whether Goods still had her phone.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police told Fox News Digital on Wednesday that Goods' missing person case remained active and detectives had not found anything suspicious.

We are less than three weeks away now from the start of the NFL season, and until we get there, we have to settle for some preseason action. I don't bet a ton of these, but there are some opportunities for us to grab some cash. Game plans are discussed, personnel is announced, and coaches openly (most of the time) share who will play in the game and for how long. That doesn't always mean anything, but it does at least give us a bit more information. We have two games on the slate tonight, and I think it is worth putting a bet on both.
On the surface, these are two very different teams. The Raiders come in searching for a path to the postseason after years of missing out and having dysfunctional teams. They owned the No. 1 draft pick and took Fernando Mendoza in the draft. He looked really sharp in his preseason game. A couple of the throws that he had were absolute darts. He went 10-for-16 overall for 97 yards and a touchdown. He scrambled a bit as well, running twice for six yards. Aidan O'Connell got the remainder of the work, throwing 13 times. Kirk Cousins was the first quarterback for the team, and he looked excellent in his work, going 5-for-6 for 50 yards and a touchdown. This Raiders offense looks like it could be dynamic this season.

However, they are going against a team that went to the postseason last year and has one of the best defenses in all of football. I like the Houston Texans, but they really didn't do anything to address their biggest need, their offensive line. PFF has them ranked at 27th coming into this year. Meanwhile, the defensive line is ranked second. The lines may not matter all that much here, as head coach DeMeco Ryans has said most of his starters will rest tonight. That means we won't see CJ Stroud for the second straight game. Davis Mills has been solid in relief, and I think he should be good again.
I wouldn't be shocked to see this being a bit lower scoring. The Raiders haven't announced much about their starters. They are missing a few key players, and that might slow the offense a bit. Couple that with going against a tough defense, and I think this will be a lower-scoring game. I will stay away from the under, because even in preseason, there isn't much room for error here. Instead, I'm banking on the Raiders in the first half of the game. I'll take them to be in the lead at halftime. I think their combination of quarterbacks should be able to make more progress than what the Texans have to offer.

Both coaches gave us a little bit of help in this game. For the Chargers, we know that Justin Herbert and the first-team will get some time on the field. I personally like this, as he should get used to Mike McDonald's schemes. The Chargers have plenty of talent and should make some progress down the field. After Herbert is out, expect to see Trey Lance and DJ Uiagalelei taking snaps. Lance was fine in his action, but Uiagalelei looked strong in his time on the field.

The 49ers are also going to have their starters get some snaps tonight. Brock Purdy will be on the field, but a lot of other guys won't be out there. Christian McCaffrey, for example, is nursing an injury, so that dynamic player will be gone from the backfield. Instead, they will give most of the action to Kaelon Black. Expect them to have a lot of action from their draft picks. Adrian Martinez is likely to get the majority of snaps, as he did in the first game. They asked him to throw 30 times, but I don't expect that to happen again.
I think this is a game we see a bit more action, but you have two strong defenses on the field. In a game like this, I think we have some tightly contested play. We should have one drive from both clubs, with a second likely going into the second quarter. I like the first quarter tie at +285 as the action for this. I think it is worth taking a small shot at it.

Baltimore Ravens 2025 preview: Why the under 10.5 wins looks like the smart bet this season
With pretty much anything in life, there will be change. In sports, five years can feel like an eternity. John Harbaugh lasted for almost 20 years at the helm of the Ravens, so it feels more than a little strange to realize he is no longer calling the shots in Baltimore. Perhaps it was what the team needed after a disaster of an ending to last year.
One kick can change a lot for a person and a franchise. Imagine for a second if Adam Vinitieri missed those field goals in the Super Bowl. With a chance for the postseason on the line, the Ravens had a solid return to set themselves up with a shot for stealing the lead back from Pittsburgh. On a fourth-and-7, Lamar Jackson hit Isaiah Likely for 26 yards. It gave them new life and put them at about a 44-yard field goal attempt. Tyler Loop lined up and missed the field goal, sending Pittsburgh to the postseason and Harbaugh to an exit from the franchise. The team ended with an 8-9 record and went home instead of going to the playoffs, where they would’ve had a good chance to keep advancing. Sure, not everything can be blamed on one game, but this was clearly the one that made the biggest difference.
The biggest change for the team was obviously its head coach. The Ravens are now led by Jesse Minter, who has Harbaugh ties, having been the defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers and the Michigan Wolverines, both coached by John's brother Jim. The Ravens also tried to make a push for Maxx Crosby this offseason, but the trade was nixed, and Crosby went back to the Raiders. Instead, they stole a rusher away from a division rival, getting Trey Hendrickson. They also lost their tight end Likely and rusher Dre’Mont Jones. They did lose their center as well, so there are a number of changes that the Ravens will need to adjust to.

The success and failure of the Ravens, like almost any team, will fall on the quarterback, Lamar Jackson. Despite all of the regular season success, Jackson still hasn’t found it in the postseason, and it will be a knock on him until he does. The offense really shouldn’t be a problem considering the team has Jackson, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, and Mark Andrews. I’m a bit concerned about the offensive line. Any time you replace a center, it can be an issue. The defense should’ve improved a bit in the offseason, and if Minter can get the most out of that unit, it could be a good season in Baltimore.

The Ravens have a win total of 11.5 for the season. I don’t see it. I’m looking at the schedule, and even if I’m trying to be optimistic about everything, I think they win fewer than 10 games. I’d be happier to place a bet on under 9.5 games at +220 than I would be to take under 11.5 games. Maybe a happy medium is under 10.5 games at +125. The Ravens are typically good in the regular season, but I think they take a step back this year. Give me the under 10.5 and even the 9.5.

FBI seizes Swalwell’s devices at airport as sexual misconduct investigation escalates: sources
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) seized disgraced former congressman Eric Swalwell's electronic devices at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday night, two sources familiar with the incident confirmed to Fox News Digital.
Swalwell's home in Washington, D.C. was subsequently searched on Sunday, a source said.
The devices seized included at least one cell phone. The devices were taken from the ex-lawmaker related to a probe into sexual misconduct, according to the sources. He was not arrested or detained, Fox News Digital learned.
Fox News Digital reached out to Swalwell's attorney.
DOJ OPENS INVESTIGATION INTO ERIC SWALWELL OVER SEXUAL ASSAULT ALLEGATIONS
The former Democratic California gubernatorial candidate and left-wing television news darling resigned from his seat in Congress in April on the heels of numerous allegations of sexual misconduct. He was threatened with expulsion from the lawmaking body before his exit. He spent 13 years as a member of Congress.
At least five women, including one former staffer, have accused Swalwell of sexual misconduct or rape.
At the same time, Swalwell dropped his bid to become California's next governor.
"I will fight the serious false allegations made against me," Swalwell wrote at the time of his resignation. "However, I must take responsibility and ownership for the mistakes I did make."
Swalwell also faced renewed scrutiny earlier this week after the White House declassified documents related to an FBI probe into his relationship with Christine "Fang Fang" Fang, a suspected Chinese intelligence operative. Swalwell told FBI agents he had "physical relations" with Fang on a handful of occasions, according to declassified FBI records released Monday by the White House.
Their last sexual encounter occurred in March 2015, according to Swalwell’s account in the FBI records.
The documents were released by the White House's new Government Transparency Task Force.
Swalwell was interviewed by the FBI first in May 2015 and later in March 2016 regarding his relationship with Fang.
Fang had suspected ties to China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS), and her parents were reportedly considered known Chinese intelligence officers.
