Cardinals' Marvin Harrison Jr looks entirely disinterested as season gets off to a putrid start
The 2025 NFL season was not kind to Marvin Harrison Jr. The Arizona Cardinals pass catcher battled injuries throughout the year, limiting his season to just 12 games, which has set up the 2026 campaign, his third in the NFL, to be what could be seen as a reintroduction as one of the most dangerous wideouts in the league.
So far, not so good.
Harrison has caught one pass and been targeted just four times through the Cardinals' first two games of the season. Considering Arizona quarterback Jacoby Brissett has thrown the football 65 times in those two games, and just one of those 65 has been hauled in by the player who many believed would be the face of the franchise, is alarming.
While the numbers, or lack thereof in this case, speak for themselves, Harrison's demeanor and energy levels have also been noticeable over two weeks, and not in a good way.
When a wide receiver garners attention while not actually catching the football and making plays, it is not a good thing.

The Cardinals, who haven't won a playoff game in over a decade, by no means entered the season as contenders playing in a loaded NFC West, but that doesn't provide a built-in excuse for Harrison to be a complete non-factor.
Arizona will play 15 more games before the season is all said and done, and Harrison could find his stride and turn into a bright spot on what will likely be a bad football team when it's all said and done, but so far there aren't signs of that happening.
Harrison led the Cardinals in touchdown receptions with eight as a rookie in 2024 and finished second in total targets with 116. In 2026, while the Cardinals have played just two games, he's on pace for zero touchdown grabs and 34 targets.
Very few would have ever predicted this sort of struggle from Harrison after back-to-back 1,200-yard seasons at Ohio State before being drafted fourth overall by Arizona just two years ago.
Less than three years ago, Harrison finished fourth in Heisman Trophy voting, and now he doesn't even look like the same player in year three of his NFL career.
Impeached Georgia mayor speaks out after sexting, spending scandals result in ouster
Former Stockbridge, Georgia Mayor Jayden Williams did not expect to be ousted from office earlier this month amid scrutiny over alleged misconduct.
"I didn't expect this," he told WSB-TV. "You know, maybe a censure, but definitely not a removal."
Stockbridge, 23, who had served in the role for less than a year at the time he was given the boot, was the city's youngest mayor ever. His tenure was cut short amid allegations pertaining to his spending of city funds as well as a relationship with an 18-year-old high school student.

Pressed by WSB-TV whether he should have recognized that the relationship was inappropriate, Williams said, "I would have to somewhat agree to that."
"There was no violation of the oath," Williams told the outlet. "I wasn't even mayor yet."
WSB-TV reported that Williams said the relationship was not sexual.
NBC News previously reported that Williams admitted he had exchanged nude photos.
"That’s not abnormal for somebody my age," Williams said during a city council meeting, according to the outlet.
A police report noted that Williams did not commit any criminal violations because the student was considered an adult under Georgia law.
Williams acknowledged spending some funds on personal purchases. He said they were from the mayor's reallocated $5,000 annual budget, not the city's general fund, according to WSB-TV.
"It was not intentional and I paid it back immediately," he said.
He noted that the city purchasing card was similar in appearance to his personal card, according to Fox 5. He later replaced the cards to avoid future confusion, the outlet reported.
Williams became the youngest mayor in Georgia history after campaigning for the position while still attending Clark Atlanta University. He was impeached by the Stockbridge City Council earlier this month after taking office in January.

And helping Iran kill American service personnel in the Persian Gulf.

China has made its satellites available to that regime for targeting U.S. forces. On March 1, Iran almost certainly used that targeting data to kill six American service members in Kuwait. At some point, the United States needs to lose patience. For one thing, Xi Jinping’s arrogance at the May summit was stunning. On the first day of the event, he publicly mentioned the Thucydides Trap, a reference to a declining hegemon dangerously challenging a rising power. The insult was indirect, but nonetheless unmistakable.

Even more insulting, the Chinese leader on the first day talked about the "new era," his phrase for the period in which the U.S. has been pushed to the sidelines and China dominates the world. As Charles Burton of the Sinopsis think tank noted, "Xi views himself as the modern heir of China’s lineage of great emperors, so the concept of fair and reciprocal relations with any foreign country is simply absent from his worldview."
Today, Xi is still arrogant, but will arrive in the American capital a diminished figure. That gives Trump leverage, but, on the other hand, it reduces Xi’s room to maneuver.

Extraordinary events have been occurring in recent days at the top of the Communist Party.
On Monday, the Communist Party announced the expulsion from the ruling organization of the country’s most senior uniformed officer, Gen. Zhang Youxia, and another general on the Central Military Commission, which controls the People’s Liberation Army. The pair was formally charged with corruption, disloyalty, and other serious disciplinary breaches. The charges suggest the generals had tried to seize power and depose Xi.

There is, at the same time, widespread domestic discontent over China’s stumbling economy and persistent questions about Xi’s health. If all this were not bad enough, Xi is coming off an unsuccessful BRICS summit in New Delhi, calling into question his handling of the country’s affairs.

All this indicates that China’s leader cannot deal constructively with Trump this week. "Xi enters these talks as a beleaguered figure seeking to shore up his domestic position," Burton points out. "Fabricating friction with the West provides a convenient foreign distraction, allowing state media to divert public attention from internal instability and Xi’s faltering policy agendas."
In short, dialogue with China promises to be unproductive this week. If it is, we should stop talking and begin doing something effective.

Trump-backed Senate candidate says 'Groceries cost too much,' calls for Iran war to 'end quickly'
Former Rep. Mike Rogers, the Republican Michigan U.S. Senate candidate backed by President Donald Trump, noted the financial strain Americans are facing, declared that the Iran war must "end quickly," and called for a diesel export embargo until the conflict concludes in a social media video.
"Michigan families are struggling with the price of everyday life. Groceries cost too much. We have to bring prices down. The war with Iran needs to end, and end quickly. When it does, energy costs will plummet. But Michigan families can’t afford to wait for that to happen," Rogers said in the video.
"I previously called for the suspension of the state and federal gas tax, 70 cents a gallon," he said.
The state's motor fuel tax, which applies to both gas and diesel, is 52.4 cents per gallon.
"Federal taxes include excise taxes of 18.3 cents per gallon on gasoline and 24.3 cents per gallon on diesel fuel, and a Leaking Underground Storage Tank fee of 0.1 cents per gallon on both fuels," according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

While Rogers does not appear to have called for a suspension of the federal diesel tax, he called for a diesel export embargo.

So until this war is over, I’m calling for a temporary embargo on American diesel exports," he said.
Trump has endorsed Rogers, including in a video posted last week on social media.

Rumors that Aaron Rodgers and Mallory Edens were dating received a boost back in 2023 when an unnamed source revealed that they were "more than friends," but were keeping things "low-key."
The two had been spotted courtside a few times at Milwaukee Bucks games, but never publicly acknowledged that they were in a relationship. That was left up to the unnamed sources and the internet's imagination.
Until Monday, that is, when the Bucks heiress appeared to fire off a response on social media to the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback's recent ex-girlfriend "press tour."

While Rodgers didn't mention Edens by name like he did with a couple of other women from his past during the "press tour," she seems to be referencing the period of time he said that he was "emotionally unavailable."

"I met my wife in 2017," he said during an appearance on the podcast Not Just Football with Cam Heyward. "At the time, she was leaving the states and going back to Europe and my biggest regret is not begging her to stay or just, like, proposing right there."

Terry Moran says network rejected his Biden health story after he witnessed president’s frailty
Former ABC News correspondent Terry Moran revealed Monday that he tried to report on concerns about then-President Joe Biden's declining health — but was promptly shut down by senior leadership at the network.
"In late 2023, early 2024, you know, it was pretty clear that Biden was fading rather quickly," Moran told The Daily Beast podcast. "I had actually traveled with him to Japan in the spring of 2023 and kind of eyeballed him there, and I thought, 'Okay, he’s still functioning, but man, he’s frail.’ He looked like he’d blow away in a stiff wind."
Moran added that the now-83-year-old former president’s voice was merely a "whisper" by his final year in office.
"I tried to do the story of Biden’s health before anybody else did in network, because I’d seen it," Moran said. "And I got shut down very hard."
Moran said he sent an email pitch to his editors for a story about Biden’s declining health "gently and as respectfully" as possible.
"It was like, ‘You know, this is [a] legit issue for Americans to be interested in,’" Moran said. "I'm not a doctor. I'm not diagnosing. But we all know what we know when we see people fading. We all have had grandparents. We're all getting old ourselves. And so there's no doubt about it, this is a legitimate concern for the voters of America."

However, Moran said that ABC News’ leadership allegedly shot down the pitch, telling him the then-president’s health is "the medical unit’s business, not yours."
Fox News Digital reached out to ABC News for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
Moran — a veteran correspondent at the outlet — left ABC News following a social media post in which he attacked President Donald Trump and White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller. Moran called Trump and Miller "world-class haters" in the now-deleted post on X.
"We are at the end of our agreement with Terry Moran and based on his recent post — which was a clear violation of ABC News policies — we have made the decision to not renew," a spokesperson for ABC News confirmed to Fox News Digital at the time.
The topic of Biden's health and mental acuity while president received renewed attention following his departure from office, including books and reports alleging that aides concealed the extent of his decline.
Some mainstream media outlets have also drawn criticism over their coverage of questions about the then-president's mental acuity, with CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson co-authoring "Original Sin: President Biden's Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again," which draws on more than 200 interviews and argues that Biden's inner circle concealed signs of decline from the public.
Moran's attempt to report on Biden's health — and his account that ABC News declined the pitch — was noted by psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert, who told Fox News Digital the veteran journalist was simply doing his due diligence as a reporter.
"Moran was doing exactly what reporters are paid to do: he noticed something and wanted to ask questions about it," Alpert said. "You don’t have to diagnose Biden to report that he appeared different. We make observations about people every day without knowing the medical explanation for them. Saying ‘I see a change’ and saying ‘I know what’s causing that change’ are completely different statements."
According to Alpert, it’s "also a very human tendency to avoid information that creates a problem for us," adding that, "sometimes it’s easier not to look too closely and that seems to be exactly what ABC was doing."
"I think what ultimately hurts credibility is the gap between what the public thinks is obvious and what an institution is willing to acknowledge," Alpert told Fox News Digital. "The wider that gap gets, the more people start wondering whether they're getting the whole story. A journalist's job is to be willing to ask the questions, even without knowing all the answers."
