WWE stars says bystander gave them middle finger in Los Angeles for driving Tesla
WWE stars Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch recalled a dangerous incident in Los Angeles with a bystander, who was apparently upset they were driving a Tesla Cybertruck.
The pro wrestling couple appeared on a recent episode of "Something’s Burning" with comedian Bert Kreischer. Rollins said he "snapped" on a person who gave them the middle finger while he was driving the vehicle.

"I have a black Cybertruck, and in LA that's like you're the enemy," Rollins said. "We have a Model 3 or Y, whatever, too. Drive around in that thing and no one gives a s---. Elon (Musk) went absolutely nuts and I bought it like kind of right before that. I just really like the electric cars, I like the brand."
Lynch explained that they were "friends of the environment, not Elon," and everywhere they go in the Tesla, there is someone who is unhappy.
"This guy, I was driving my daughter to school. She (Becky) was in the back seat with (their daughter) Roux. This guy, this little guy, just walking his dog on the side of the road, we were just driving, I make this turn, and unwarranted, he just goes like this (sticks his middle finger up) Real tough, real tough guy with his little dog. And I was like, ‘Aw God.’ And she didn’t see it. I’m like, ‘Tell me to just keep driving, tell me to just keep driving.’ She was like, ‘Just drive. What happened? What’s going on?’ We started to turn away and I was like, ‘No.’
WWE STAR RIPS 'STUPID GIANTS' FANS UPSET OVER INJURED CAM SKATTEBO'S WRESTLING INVOLVEMENT
"I hit the brakes and I wrapped it back around, and I went up and found this guy, and I parked the car and got out and I just ran up to this guy and I’m like, ‘You don’t know who the f--- people are. You don’t know what people are going through. I’m just trying to take my goddamn daughter to school.’ I’m like, ‘You don’t know s--- about people.’ Then I started going in on him. I’m like, ‘I don’t agree with politics’ and this and that. And he tried to apologize."
Lynch said the person told them it was the car and not the people inside the car.
Tesla faced attacks earlier in the year as Musk aligned with President Donald Trump once the president was inaugurated for the second time.
Tesla dealerships across the globe were met with protests and violence before things cooled down.
Rollins, the former world heavyweight champion, has been injured and out of the ring for a few weeks. Lynch recently lost her Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine Dupri and will now be a part of the women’s WarGames match on Saturday night.

Criminal networks exploit US interstates to make human trafficking victims vanish: ‘Real plague’
An epidemic sweeping the country’s roadways and causing human trafficking victims to vanish without a trace is being highlighted on the heels of one of the largest child-smuggling busts in United States history.
Individuals being trafficked along interstate highways has become increasingly common throughout the U.S. However, data regarding just how many victims are transported along interstate highways remains unavailable, largely due to the secretive nature of such crimes.
In November, a multi-regional operation involving several federal, state and local agencies resulted in the rescue of 122 missing or endangered children from ten states, according to Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier.
The mission, referred to as "Operation Home for the Holidays," marked one of the largest child-recovery efforts in the country’s history, and included children ranging in age from 23 months to 17 years old.
"Many have been through the unthinkable," Uthmeier said, according to FOX13. "They’ve been trafficked. They’ve been exploited. They’ve been abused. They need our help now more than ever."
Of the victims rescued, 109 children were found in various cities throughout Florida, according to Uthmeier. Thirteen children were also rescued from other states and internationally.
Human trafficking is defined as "the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act," according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
According to a 2024 report released by the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Advisory Committee on Human Trafficking, global traffickers earn more than $150 billion annually by exploiting victims for both commercial sex and forced labor.
"While roadways, railways, waterways, and airways serve as vital arteries of global connectivity and commerce, these same networks can also facilitate the clandestine movement of individuals being subjected to human trafficking by concealing them amidst the vast flow of legitimate passengers," the report states.
In 2023, the National Human Trafficking Hotline received a total of 9,619 confirmed reports of human trafficking nationwide, according to the report. Additionally, 16,999 potential victims were also identified by authorities.
While the Hotline does not track transport-related cases, the report indicated there were 36 truck-stop-based instances of trafficking in 2023.
FOX EXCLUSIVE: NATIONWIDE HUMAN TRAFFICKING BUST TARGETS CHINESE ORGANIZED CRIME NETWORKS
"These traffickers bring them from different cities and essentially sell them as human goods," Toby Braun, founder of American Special Investigative Group, told Fox News Digital. "They sexually abuse them and also [force them] to create material for them."
Victims are often transported between traffickers using interstate highways throughout the country, with a particular emphasis on states and cities with marine ports and international airports.
"They may start in South Florida," Braun said. "From South Florida, they go to Atlanta. From Atlanta, they pass through Charlotte. Oftentimes, they may put victims in safe houses there."
Braun added that from Charlotte, victims can then be driven to major metropolitan hubs, such as New York City.
SEXTORTION SCAMS AGAINST TEEN BOYS SKYROCKET AFTER COVID, WATCHDOG SAYS
"You have [trafficking] in a lot of major cities," Braun told Fox News Digital. "You have it in South Florida, in Miami, Atlanta, Houston, and in so many metropolitan areas – there's a huge risk factor of human trafficking."
The DOT has emphasized that the transportation sector plays a key role in both facilitating and preventing human trafficking.
Of the confirmed federal sex trafficking cases in 2023, private vehicles were the most common form of transporting victims, accounting for 38% of reported cases, according to the Human Trafficking Institute’s Annual Federal Human Trafficking Report.
Additionally, transportation using airplanes and rideshares each accounted for seven-percent of reported cases, respectively, according to the report. Commercial vehicles and rental vehicles each accounted for three percent, with two-percent of victims being transported by buses and one-percent by train.
AMERICAN TRUCKING INDUSTRY URGES LAWMAKERS TO ACT AS ONLINE CARGO THEFT SURGES
Braun points to organized criminal groups exploiting transportation methods throughout the country to move victims across state lines.
"It makes it tougher because of the kind of resources [these groups] have and their ability to traffic people around, hide them in places and really oftentimes stay undetected," Braun said.
Law enforcement also faces numerous hurdles when it comes to tracking down both traffickers and their victims, specifically when individuals are being relocated frequently.
"They move people and are trafficking to other locations very quickly," Braun told Fox News Digital. "So, a lot of times when law enforcement gets tips or information, by the time they respond, the victim is already in a completely different place. It could be in another city, or it could be another state."
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ALLEGEDLY OFFERED WHATSAPP 'MENU' OF WOMEN FOR SEX TRAFFICKING RING
Braun also indicated that many departments throughout the country lack the manpower or resources to track down traffickers when they are on the move, while suggesting authorities on both the state and federal levels need to further collaborate to track down criminals.
"The FBI and Homeland Security are the two primary agencies in the United States that handle trafficking cases, largely due to the fact that they're federal cases because they're crossing state lines," Braun said. "There has to be more collaboration between the federal partners and local partners, and more emphasis on the local partners having dedicated resources for human trafficking."
The DOT’s report echoes this sentiment, stating that the Department of Justice has "little to no data related to human trafficking offenses" involving commercial transit, while calling on officials to establish more robust data collection between federal and state law enforcement.
The DOT did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
As a result, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) launched the "Your Roads, Their Freedom" campaign in an effort to educate commercial motor vehicle drivers on the signs of human trafficking.
The campaign points to various indicators of victims being transported for human trafficking, including looking for two vehicles exchanging individuals, individuals flashing headlights at people in parking lots or chatter regarding a commercial company’s "sale" on citizens band (CB radio).
However, Braun acknowledges that the difficulty of tracking down victims often falls on public awareness of the issue wreaking havoc throughout the country’s most populous areas.
"I think because there's just not enough information out there to make people understand the real issue that's out there, and to really highlight this epidemic that we're facing as a country with human trafficking. I think more people need to know that this is a real problem for our country. It's a real plague."
BROADCAST BIAS: Maybe Nancy Pelosi could get on the Mount Rushmore of House speakers
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., finally announced what everyone expected, that she would not run for office again now that she’s 85. It’s the end of an era, an era of broadcast TV flattery and shamelessness. Pelosi has wielded great power over her members, and also great power over the national media. She viciously attacks any reporter that asks her a question she doesn’t want to answer. In recent years, the big networks have been putty in her hands.
This starts with the issue of her husband Paul’s aggressive financial trading, and her quiet opposition to any attempt to restrict members of Congress from trading stocks, which is on the agenda again. Back in 2011, CBS’s "60 Minutes" cooperated with conservative author Peter Schweizer when his book "Throw Them All Out" was published. Since then, the issue has largely vanished.
A New York Post analysis revealed that before first taking office in 1987, Pelosi and her husband reported between $610,000 and $785,000 in stocks in their portfolio — worth $133.7 million today, according to the latest estimates from Quiver Quantitative. That means that Nancy Pelosi grew her little nest egg by 16,930%.
In the last four years, the gush from the press has been remarkably excessive. Stock trading didn’t come up in 2022 in a George Stephanopoulos interview on ABC’s "This Week." Stephanopoulos asked then-Speaker Pelosi: "the [Biden] White House is warning of an imminent invasion of Ukraine. The Ukrainians seem to think that’s all hype. Do you believe that Putin is poised to invade?" Stephanopoulos even asked Pelosi if "Congress [is] doing everything you can to prevent an invasion?" Most laughably, he asked her what "should President Putin know from you, the speaker of the House, about the consequences of invasion?"
FIVE TIMES NANCY PELOSI LOST HER COOL WITH THE MEDIA
When Democrats lost the House in the midterms, Pelosi relinquished her post as Democrat leader, but the encomiums never stopped. On CBS’s "Sunday Morning" in early 2024, substitute host Tracy Smith announced, "House Speaker Emerita that has a new book out, ‘The Art of Power’ — an art which Nancy Pelosi is something of a master."
Pelosi also gushed, proclaiming President Joe Biden was at the "top of his game. Such a consequential president of the United States, a Mount Rushmore kind of president of the United States." Lesley Stahl asked if she was serious: "Lincoln and Joe Biden?" Pelosi underlined it: "You got Teddy Roosevelt up there, and he’s wonderful. I don’t say take him down, but you can add Biden."
Stahl just had to follow up that comedy with flattery: "If there were a Mount Rushmore for speakers of the House, Nancy Pelosi would certainly be up there, commemorating her 20 years as a commanding leader in Congress." If there's a stellar achievement on Pelosi's résumé, it has to be how impressively she and her husband have enriched themselves while she was in "public service."
NANCY PELOSI'S CRITICS CELEBRATE RETIREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT
Two weeks before the 2024 election, CNN and PBS host Christiane Amanpour read a virulently anti-Trump passage from Pelosi’s book. It was about his "repeatedly stomping out of meetings, his foul mouth, his pounding on tables, his temper tantrums, his disrespect for our nation’s patriots, and his total separation from reality and actual events." Then Amanpour asked: "How did you deal with that? And do you think this country, your country, can survive another term?" What would America do without Pelosi?
On the one-year anniversary of the Jan. 6 riot, "NBC Nightly News" anchor Lester Holt was a soft touch. He walked through the hallways of the Capitol with her and noted they "desecrated your office" and one rioter wrote he wanted to "shoot her in her freaking brain." Pelosi said the memory "breaks your heart. It’s like somebody in the White House dropped a bomb on the Congress."
Holt concluded with the devout Catholic angle: "You’ve been very vocal in the past about praying for your adversaries." She said, "I always do," but the current Republican Party "melted down into a cult."
Perhaps the most servile interviewer was "PBS NewsHour" co-anchor Geoff Bennett, who interviewed Pelosi in front of a PBS crowd in California in May. He began by gushing to the crowd that Pelosi, who did the interview remotely from Boston, is "known for her political leadership, her sharp insights and her real singular ability to keep Democrats united."
CLICK HERE FOR MORE FOX NEWS OPINION
Bizarrely, Bennett expressed shock that the Democrats weren’t getting credit for the economy: "Having covered Democratic policies, you can say objectively that Democrats did have policies that benefited the middle class! And Joe Biden spent a lot of political capital passing them into law and yet it didn’t seem to resonate, didn’t connect with the American people in this last election."
Pelosi generously said the stupid voters shouldn’t be blamed: "When somebody doesn't get a message, it's not because of them. It's because of us who are delivering the message, that we did not deliver it clearly enough."
This didn't feel like a "newsmaker interview." It felt like a journalistic version of "Driving Miss Daisy."
No one should expect these broadcast networks to live up to the expectation that they’re "holding government accountable." They have been easily brought to heel like they’re all Nancy Pelosi’s nervous caucus members.
Fugitive football coach disappeared into woods with gun, family says
The fugitive Virginia high school football coach who disappeared amid a child pornography investigation was last seen entering a wooded area with a firearm, a family attorney has said.
Travis L. Turner, 46, the decorated head coach of Union High School in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, left his residence to walk into a "heavily wooded and mountainous area" on Nov. 20, attorney Adrian Collins said in a statement on behalf of the family obtained by WCYB.
"The last known contact the family had with Travis occurred on or about Thursday, Nov. 20, after he left his residence to walk in the woods with a firearm," the statement reads, noting that no warrants for his arrest had been made prior to his disappearance.
When he didn't come home that evening, his wife notified local law enforcement but was told she had to wait 24 hours to file a missing-person report, according to the statement. She submitted the report to Virginia State Police (VSP) the next day.
The family said that they, along with friends, have searched the surrounding woods, though their efforts have been limited by bad weather and the need to avoid interfering with the official search.
On Tuesday, five days after Turner was last seen, authorities announced that they had obtained 10 warrants to charge him with five counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of using a computer to solicit a minor.
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are pending. Turner is now considered a fugitive, the VSP said.
VIRGINIA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL COACH CONSIDERED 'FUGITIVE' FOLLOWING MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE: POLICE
Turner was reported missing on Friday, Nov. 21 — a day after he was last seen — as Virginia State Police investigators were returning to his Appalachia home to speak with him about the case. Police said they had visited the home on Nov. 20, the day he disappeared, and were not seeking to arrest him at that time.
Turner’s wife Leslie Caudill Turner responded after her husband was charged, telling The Daily Mail that "none of that is true."
"He’s a good dad and a good husband, and we want him home. That’s it," she said. "I don’t know anything. I don’t know anything. I’m sorry."
Police have launched an extensive search across Wise County utilizing drones, K-9 units and foot patrols. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, sweatpants and glasses, according to Virginia's missing person database.
Anyone with information about Turner’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Virginia State Police at (276) 228-3131.

Iran boycotting 2026 World Cup draw ceremony in Washington due to denied visas by Trump administration
The groups for the 2026 World Cup will be selected at random next week in Washington, D.C., but one of the participating countries has decided to boycott the draw.
Iran opted not to attend the event because the United States denied visas to members of its delegation, the state-run IRNA news agency reported on Friday.
The agency quoted Iranian soccer federation spokesman Amir-Mahdi Alavi as saying that officials faced visa obstacles that go beyond sports considerations. Alavi said the federation had reached out to FIFA and hoped it could help resolve the issue.

President Donald Trump's administration announced in June a travel ban on citizens from 12 countries, including Iran. The list also included Haiti, which last week qualified for the World Cup.
Exemptions, however, were promised for "any athlete or member of an athletic team, including coaches, persons performing a necessary support role, and immediate relatives, traveling for the World Cup, Olympics, or other major sporting event as determined by the secretary of state."
The White House did not respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
It is unclear whether the exemptions also apply to the World Cup draw, which takes place next Friday at the Kennedy Center.
The Iranian delegation would have been expected to be led by its soccer federation president Mehdi Taj, one of the most senior officials in Asian soccer and a member of two FIFA committees that have oversight of the World Cup.
He is one of the vice presidents of the Asian Football Confederation and a member of FIFA panels with responsibility for the ruling body's competitions, plus men's national team soccer in general.
ZOHRAN MAMDANI SAYS HE'D WELCOME TRUMP TO WORLD CUP IN NYC AREA, EXPLAINS TOURNAMENT CZAR'S ROLE
A record 48 teams will participate in the June 11-July 19 World Cup co-hosted by the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Six of the teams will be determined next March.
The championship will take place at MetLife Stadium, the home of the New York Giants and Jets, in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The first will be at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
Games will also be played in the Boston area, but Trump has threatened to take games out of Foxoborough, Massachusetts if "there's unsafe conditions."
Trump made the suggestion while taking questions from the media during a meeting with Argentinian President Javier Milei at the White House, threatening to call FIFA President Gianni Infantino to have the games moved to cities that do cooperate, citing safety concerns.
"We can take them away. I love the people of Boston. And I know the games are sold out, but the mayor is not good. There are worse than her. At least she's intelligent. You know, some are extremely low IQ. Those bother me more. She's intelligent, but she's radical left," Trump said.
"The answer is yes, if somebody's doing a bad job, and if I feel there's unsafe conditions, I would call Gianni, the head of FIFA, who's phenomenal, and I would say, ‘Let’s move it to another location,' and he would do that. He wouldn't love to do it, but he'd do it, very easily he'd do it. And this is the right time to do it."
Boston is currently set to host seven matches when the World Cup comes to North America next summer. The slate includes five group-stage games, one Round of 32 fixture and the first quarterfinal on July 9.

Social media furious over Eagles coach Nick Sirianni's questionable two-point conversion attempt
The Philadelphia Eagles had a chance to stay alive in their brutal loss on Black Friday, but a questionable coaching decision came back to haunt them.
After A.J. Brown scored his second touchdown of the night, the Birds trailed the Chicago Bears, 24-15, with 3:10 to go.
An extra point would have made it a one-possession game, but head coach Nick Sirianni decided to leave the offense on the field to go for two.

Jalen Hurts' pass to Saquon Barkley fell incomplete, and just like that, almost all hope was out the window.
Eagles fans in the stadium were booing their own team all night, but after Sirianni opted to go for two instead of the extra point, social media was also loud.
Sirianni's decision was hardly the lone reason for the loss — the Eagles run defense was atrocious, allowing 281 yards on the ground. It was the first time since 1985 that the Bears had two 100-yard rushers in one game.
EAGLES BOOED OFF FIELD AT HOME STADIUM AS BEARS DOMINATE ON THE GROUND IN UPSET VICTORY
Meanwhile, the Eagles had just 326 yards of offense and only 14 first downs, half of the Bears' 28.
Hurts completed just over half of his passes and had two costly turnovers in the second half, including losing a fumble on a tush push.
It's now back-to-back losses for the Eagles, who fell to the Dallas Cowboys this past Sunday despite getting out to a 21-0 lead. Meanwhile, the Bears are now 9-3.
The Eagles will look to get back on track in a Monday night contest in Los Angeles against the Chargers Dec. 8, while the Bears, winners of five straight, head to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers.

Nick Saban calls Ohio State fans 'psychotic' ahead of rivalry game against Michigan
Ohio State and Michigan will do battle in the latest edition of The Game – the longstanding football rivalry between the two schools.
Buckeyes fans are hoping that their team will be able to pull through against the Wolverines. Michigan has defeated Ohio State each of the last four years, and even though the defending national champions are likely to make the College Football Playoff, fans are sure to be revved up going into Saturday’s affair.

Well, former college football coach Nick Saban has had it with Ohio State fans.
"These Ohio State fans, they’re psychotic about this, man," Saban said Wednesday on "The Pat McAfee Show." "They all need to go see the doctor someplace. I’d rather win the national championship than beat Michigan. That’s just me. Although, I’d love to beat Michigan, don’t get me wrong."
Saban knows the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry first hand. He served as a defensive backs coach under Woody Hayes in the 1980s.
OHIO STATE LOOKS FOR REVENGE AGAINST MICHIGAN IN HIGH-STAKES EDITION OF THE GAME
He said when he was a head coach in college football, he would try to get his team to just focus on what they can do to execute and stressed that the road teams in the rivalry matchups over the weekend "need to have resiliency."
Julian Sayin has shown his resiliency throughout the season and has turned into a Heisman Trophy contender. He won the quarterback job in the offseason and has thrown for 2,832 yards and 27 touchdowns. Ohio State’s defense has also played extremely well, too. The team hasn’t allowed more than 16 points all season.
Michigan comes into the game with a chip on their shoulder and with home field advantage as the game will take place at "The Big House." The Wolverines are 9-2 and led by Bryce Underwood who has 2,166 passing yards, nine touchdown passes and five touchdowns on the ground.
The Game will take place at noon ET and can be seen on FOX.

Hegseth defends lethal strikes against alleged drug traffickers: 'Biden coddled terrorists, we kill them'
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth wrote on X that "Biden coddled terrorists, we kill them," in a post defending the Trump administration's strikes on alleged drug vessels in the Caribbean Sea.
The declaration came following reports from outlets such as The Washington Post and CNN claiming the U.S. military ordered a second strike on a suspected drug vessel in the Caribbean on Sept. 2 after the initial attack left two survivors.
The commander overseeing that operation told colleagues on a secure conference call that the survivors were legitimate targets because they could still contact other traffickers for help and ordered the second strike to comply with a directive from Hegseth that everyone must be killed, according to The Washington Post.
"As usual, the fake news is delivering more fabricated, inflammatory, and derogatory reporting to discredit our incredible warriors fighting to protect the homeland," Hegseth wrote on X on Friday.
TRUMP SAYS US WILL BEGIN STOPPING VENEZUELAN DRUG TRAFFICKERS BY LAND
"As we’ve said from the beginning, and in every statement, these highly effective strikes are specifically intended to be ‘lethal, kinetic strikes.’ The declared intent is to stop lethal drugs, destroy narco-boats, and kill the narco-terrorists who are poisoning the American people. Every trafficker we kill is affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organization," Hegseth continued.
"The Biden administration preferred the kid gloves approach, allowing millions of people — including dangerous cartels and unvetted Afghans — to flood our communities with drugs and violence. The Trump administration has sealed the border and gone on offense against narco-terrorists. Biden coddled terrorists, we kill them," he added.
Hegseth also said, "Our current operations in the Caribbean are lawful under both U.S. and international law, with all actions in compliance with the law of armed conflict — and approved by the best military and civilian lawyers, up and down the chain of command."
US FORCES KILL 3 NARCO-TERRORISTS IN EASTERN PACIFIC LETHAL STRIKE OPERATION TARGETING DRUG NETWORKS
In a separate post on his personal X account, Hegseth wrote, "We have only just begun to kill narco-terrorists."
Fox News Digital has reached out to a Biden spokesperson for comment.
President Donald Trump also said on Thursday said the U.S. will "very soon" begin stopping suspected Venezuelan drug traffickers "by land."
"From sending their poisons into the United States, where they kill hundreds of thousands of people a year — but we're going to take care of that situation," Trump said. "We're already doing a lot … It's about 85% stopped by sea."
The president added, "You probably noticed that now people aren't wanting to be delivering by sea, and we'll be starting to stop them by land also. The land is easier, but that's going to start very soon."

MIKE DAVIS: After Trump case collapses, time for Fani Willis to lawyer up
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, an elected Democrat, is a disgrace to her office and the legal profession. She to bring down President Trump with a politically motivated indictment, but her vendetta came crashing to a pitiful end on Wednesday. Now, it is time for Willis to face maximum legal accountability.
Trump vigorously objected to the results of the 2020 presidential election in several states and during the Congressional certification process. He offered no bribes and made no threats of violence; indeed, he urged his supporters to march "peacefully" to the Capitol on January 6, 2021, the day of the certification. Yet, Willis—a leftist hack—secured an indictment against Trump and many of his allies with an overwhelming Democrat grand jury in Atlanta. These included Trump’s loyal White House chief of staff Mark Meadows; Jeff Clark, an exceptional former top Justice Department official who is facing a disgraceful disbarment effort by the District of Columbia Bar; and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, America’s greatest mayor who served as one of President Trump’s attorneys. Willis alleged a vast RICO conspiracy that could have landed President Trump and his supporters in prison for decades.
Willis had ethical issues even before her indictment. Lt. Gov. Burt Jones was one of her targets, but she never got the chance to persecute him. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney disqualified Willis because she had fundraised for Jones’ Democrat opponent. This disqualification was an easy call; indeed, McBurney expressed incredulity as to what Willis possibly could have been thinking. Pete Skandalakis, head of the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia (PACGA), took over the case and dismissed it after determining that Jones had not acted with criminal intent. This shameful episode would not be Willis's most shocking lapse in judgment during this fiasco.
Willis hired her secret (and married) boyfriend Nathan Wade, who had never tried a felony case. He had been a lawyer in private practice and a municipal court judge. Somehow, he found his way onto Willis’s team, raking in $250 an hour from Fulton County taxpayers. He billed eight-hour days constantly, and he even billed 24 hours on one occasion. He wound up taking home almost $700,000. He made far more money than John Floyd, Georgia’s preeminent expert on the RICO statute. The mystery of Wade’s involvement was solved thanks to Ashleigh Merchant, an excellent attorney who represented one of Trump’s co-defendants and American patriotic warrior Mike Roman. Merchant alleged that Willis and Wade had been having an affair and filed a motion for their disqualification.
GEORGIA APPEALS COURT DISQUALIFIES DA FANI WILLIS AND HER TEAM FROM TRUMP ELECTION INTERFERENCE CASE
Leftist legal analysts like the insufferable Norm Eisen scoffed at Merchant when she filed her motion. The prosecution even sought sanctions. Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee did not issue sanctions; instead, he held an evidentiary hearing. The hearing was a national disgrace. Willis could not control her rage, and McAfee had to caution her to stop her antics. The proceedings degenerated into an episode of Jerry Springer, and the salacious details of the affair were broadcast for the nation to see. Wade paid for lavish trips to the Caribbean and other luxurious places. Willis claimed that she had reimbursed Wade with cash that she kept in her house at the direction of her father, a prominent Black Panther. There are no records of any of these purported reimbursements. Willis also claimed the affair had nothing to do with the indictment, testifying that it only started after Wade’s appointment.
McAfee used the phrase "odor of mendacity" to describe the testimony of Willis and Wade. He sadly split the baby, ruling that one of them would be disqualified. Wade resigned that day, meaning that Willis could stay on the case. President Trump and most codefendants appealed the decision not to disqualify Willis, and an appellate court agreed with the defendants. Willis sought review by the Georgia Supreme Court, but the justices rebuffed her earlier this year. The case was then reassigned to PACGA. Skandalakis could not find a prosecutor to take it over, so he assigned it to himself. The day before Thanksgiving, McAfee granted Skandalakis’ motion to dismiss the case in its entirety. Willis secured a few plea deals to misdemeanor charges, a pathetic result given the fanfare that the indictment initially received. Willis promised that "[t]he train is coming," but her staggering corruption, arrogance, and incompetence derailed the train.
Willis’s sham indictment devastated many lives. People with not nearly the resources of Trump faced indictment and had to shell out massive amounts to pay lawyers. They had their lives destroyed. The dismissal cannot be the last word here, and Trump’s attorney, the brilliant Steve Sadow, has made that clear. He will move for attorney’s fees and costs under Georgia Code § 17-11-6. Such fees are proper because Willis was disqualified for improper conduct, and the case was fully dismissed. Every other defendant should join Sadow’s motion. Additionally, Willis and Wade must face severe criminal accountability by the U.S. Justice Department for a conspiracy against rights under 18 U.S.C. § 241. Wade visited the Biden White House, billing 16 hours of his time to the taxpayers of Fulton County. What happened here is obvious. Willis and Wade were coordinating their farcical prosecution with Team Biden. It could not have been for any other reason, as Wade was hired as a special counsel just for this case. If Wade were billing his time to Fulton County taxpayers for his Biden White House meeting for an unrelated matter to the Trump case, Wade committed fraud. Willis hired her lover, who kicked back some of his unearned salary to finance lavish trips for himself and Willis. The U.S. Justice Department has subpoenaed records from Willis, and a grand jury must promptly investigate and indict these corrupt public (dis-)servants.
President Trump objected to an election he thought had been stolen. Democrats did the same in 1969, 2001, 2005, and 2017—yet, none faced indictment. Such objections are allowed under the First Amendment and the Electoral Count Act. It is only illegal to object to elections in third-world Marxist hellholes. Willis and Wade were neck-deep in the Republic-ending lawfare conspiracy against Trump that tore apart our nation. They failed, but they cannot walk away from their despicable actions. Justice must come their way swiftly and severely. They could not wait to post President Trump’s mugshot, and the time has come for theirs.
Lawyer up, Fani. Justice is coming. Nobody is above the law.
