Hasan Piker says UK has barred him, trashes 'unbelievable...power' of pro-Israel groups

It hasn't been a great last few days for Marxist political influencer Hasan Piker.

First, as Fox News Digital reported exclusively last week, the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) sent Piker an administrative subpoena seeking financial, logistical and communications records related to his March trip to Cuba as part of an investigation into whether he violated U.S. sanctions laws against doing business with the communist regime running the island nation.

Then last night, during protests outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Newark, N.J., hecklers confronted Piker, calling him a "f---ing fraud, " "fake-a-- grifter" and "dog abuser," telling him, "Go back to the desktop." (Piker has denied allegations he trained his dog, Kaya, with a shock collar.)

Now, Piker told his loyal following on the gaming platform Twitch that British authorities denied his Electronic Travel Authorization, or ETA, preventing him from traveling to the United Kingdom for a series of scheduled appearances, including events at SXSW London and the Oxford Union. Approved U.S. travelers to the UK can enter the country with a simple Electronic Travel Authorization, which is easier to get then a formal visa.

"I've been banned from the UK," Piker told viewers. "I've been to the UK on numerous occasions, and all of the things they're complaining about now are things I've said before."

He went on to say, "It's f---ing ridiculous."

HASAN PIKER DEFENDS PRO-COMMUNIST, ANTI-ICE SINGHAM NETWORK ACTIVISTS AS 'WONDERFUL PEOPLE'

Although Fox News Digital could not confirm Piker's claim, such a move by the UK would be significant because it would mark a potential red line that a Western government has drawn regarding the importation of extremist ideas and ideological movements that officials believe may contribute to social unrest, extremism or political violence.

At the tail end of a long livestream, Piker said he was denied entry for alleged antisemitism, which he denied, and then proceeded to lash out at Jewish organizations that he said had campaigned against his visit, claiming they wielded excessive influence over British policy.

"Israel advocacy organizations have unbelievable amounts of power over what even the United Kingdom has to say and do," Piker said. "If you're an avowed anti-Zionist, your travel will be restricted."

Piker accused the UK government of bowing to pressure from pro-Israel advocacy groups and described the decision as evidence of a growing crackdown on political dissent across Western democracies.

The comments came weeks after several British Jewish organizations publicly urged the government to block Piker's entry into the country, citing remarks they described as antisemitic and supportive of extremist groups. Piker has said he believed the U.S. deserved the 9/11 attack as "backlash" for its foreign policy decisions. The Jewish Leadership Council and Community Security Trust argued that Piker's presence in Britain would not be "conducive to the public good," pointing to his comments about Hamas, Hezbollah, Zionism and Orthodox Jews.

Labour MP David Taylor also called on the Home Office to revoke Piker's visa ahead of scheduled appearances at SXSW London, arguing that his rhetoric had contributed to concerns within Britain's Jewish community.

Punctuating his commentary about the UK decision with deep sighs, cursing and rage at suggestions from his followers, Piker repeatedly rejected accusations of antisemitism, saying criticism of Israel was being conflated with hatred of Jews. He said the decision reflected a broader trend in which governments are suppressing anti-Israel voices.

"This is straight-up fascism," Piker said. "Being critical of Israel while combating antisemitism is not a good enough reason to bar someone entry into the country."

HOW A RHODES SCHOLAR WITH TIES TO CUBA'S PRESIDENT ORGANIZED THE CONVOY THAT BROUGHT HASAN PIKER TO HAVANA

The streamer said he had planned a week-long trip that included appearances alongside former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis, a live podcast recording and an event at Oxford Union.

Varoufakis is the co-founder of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit group, Progressive International, which Piker credits with getting him to Cuba for a March aid convoy that may have violated U.S. laws. A Fox News Digital investigation chronicled how Progressive International and its co-founder David Adler have allegedly been a critical part of a foreign influence operation by the Communist Party of Cuba. Progressive International and Adler didn't respond to a request for comment.

The U.K. government didn't respond to a request for comment. However, in recent weeks, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, a critic of Israeli policies, recently revoked the travel authorization of Piker's uncle, Cenk Uygur, founder of "The Young Turks," after concluding his presence would not be "conducive to the public good."

During the livestream, Piker warned that the alleged UK decision could set a precedent for other Western countries, including Australia and Canada, potentially restricting his future travel.

HASAN PIKER NAMES PRO-CCP TYCOON SINGHAM AS FINANCIER OF 'POLITICAL MOVEMENTS' DESPITE NONPROFIT VENEER

"I genuinely did not think this would happen," he said. "We're moving into a very different timeline."

Piker said he and his team were exploring whether he could apply for a standard visa despite the denial of the Electronic Travel Authorization, though he acknowledged it was a long shot.

Piker's case intersects with a broader inquiry into the influence of transnational activist networks operating in the United States. During a livestream this week, Piker said that the Treasury Department's investigation into his Cuba trip may ultimately be focused on Neville Roy Singham, an American Marxist businessman living in Shanghai who has funded a network of nonprofit organizations and activist groups that have drawn scrutiny from lawmakers and administration officials.

Among the organizations funded by Singham is CodePink, which also received a Treasury Department administrative subpoena related to its participation in the March convoy to Cuba, as well as groups such as the Party for Socialism and Liberation and the ANSWER Coalition. All three organizations openly identify with socialist or communist political traditions and have been prominent organizers of anti-Israel demonstrations across the United States since the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks by Hamas against Israel.

Critics argue that some of those demonstrations have created hostile environments for Jews in the UK, U.S., and elsewhere, including the use of slogans such as "From the river to the sea," which calls for the elimination of Israel.

Trump administration officials are investigating the groups tied to Singham as a transnational network advancing anti-American, pro-Chinese Communist Party and anti-Western narratives while exploiting political and social divisions inside the U.S.

Lawmakers, Treasury officials and national security analysts have increasingly examined whether such networks are helping to amplify polarization, social discord, and hostility toward democratic institutions. Meanwhile, last night at the ICE protest, Piker defended the groups as led by "wonderful" people.

The debate has been particularly acute in Europe, where governments have grappled with alliances between far-left activists and Islamist organizations that have joined forces around anti-Israel activism and antisemitism. Critics argue that some of these coalitions have fomented rhetoric and violence hostile to Jews, leading to rising antisemitism in the UK, much like in the U.S.

For his part, Piker ended his podcast defiant, angry and seemingly deflated for the moment, repeating again, "Bro, they banned me from the UK," and then finally closing the podcast, saying, "I'm done for the day."

Commodores co-founder and former bassist Ronald LaPread dead at 75

The Commodores' co-founder and former bassist Ronald LaPread has died. He was 75.

On Saturday, LaPread's daughter, music producer Soraya LaPread, confirmed her father's death on social media.

"It is with very heavy heart that I must announce that my Father Ronald LaPread has passed," Soraya wrote on a post shared to her Instagram Story. Soraya also uploaded a photo of herself embracing LaPread.

No cause of death was immediately provided. However, the NZHerald reported on Saturday that LaPread died following a "sudden medical event" in Auckland, New Zealand. According to the outlet, LaPread had lived in Auckland for 40 years prior to his death.

LIONEL RICHIE CALLS EXPLOSIVE MARRIAGE-ENDING FIGHT THE 'SCANDAL OF MY CENTURY' IN NEW TELL-ALL BOOK

LaPread co-founded the Commodores with Lionel Richie, Walter "Clyde" Orange, Thomas McClary, William King, Milan Williams after they met as students at the Tuskegee Institute, which later became known as Tuskegee University, in Tuskegee, Alabama.

In 1971, the Commodores were selected to open for the Jackson 5, a major break that helped them gain national exposure. The funk, soul and R&B band signed with Motown in 1972 and released their debut studio album "Machine Gun" in 1974.

"I play some bass and some keyboard and some singing. I do it every day because that's my joy," he said. "I love it. I believe that God gave me that gift, but I will use it until I can't do it anymore."

LaPread also expressed his hopes of performing with the Commodores again, saying, "That has always been my dream to get on stage one time with those fellas once again just for the fun of it."

In October 2025, LaPread joined the Commodores' current lineup which includes original member William King along with Brent Carter and original member Walter "Clyde" Orange's sons Cody Orange, and Colin Orange for their show in Auckland.

The Commodores later celebrated LaPread's appearance in a post on the band's official Instagram page. Along with a slideshow of photos, they wrote, "We had an amazing show in Auckland, New Zealand, the first of our 8-show Australia / New Zealand tour. So much love in the theater! Our highlight? We were joined on stage by original Commodores bass player Ronald LaPread!"

"His talent, dedication, and success brought pride to Tuskegee and served as an inspiration to generations of young people who followed in his footsteps," he added. "On behalf of the City Council and the citizens of Tuskegee, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the LaPread family, his friends, former bandmates, and fans across the globe."

"Ronald LaPread's music and legacy will continue to live on for generations to come."

The Commodores recently made headlines when they announced that they had pulled out of their scheduled performance during the Great American State Fair, 16-day festival in Washington, D.C. on the National Mall to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

"The Commodores will not be performing at the Great American State Fair," the band wrote on Instagram. "Our music has always been our voice and we choose not to publicly affiliate with any single political party. We support the betterment of all Americans."

Left-wing streamer blasts New Jersey governor over state police response at ICE facility protests

Marxist political commentator and Twitch streamer Hasan Piker blasted New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill during a livestream Sunday, accusing the Democratic governor of aiding the Trump administration's immigration agenda through her response to anti-ICE protests outside a Newark detention facility.

Piker's criticism came after Sherrill defended the deployment of state police around demonstrations outside Delaney Hall, an ICE detention center in Newark, saying she would not allow unrest to provide a pretext for expanded federal immigration operations in New Jersey.

"I refuse to let that happen in New Jersey. I will not give ICE a pretext," Sherrill said in remarks aired during a news segment Piker was reacting to on stream.

Piker quickly mocked the governor's explanation.

GOV. SHERRILL BLAMES ICE, DEFENDS RIOTERS AFTER DEPLOYING TROOPERS TO QUELL VIOLENT MOB

"Yeah, I won't give ICE a pretext. So I'm going to ensure that they don't have to do anything because I'm going to do it myself," Piker said. "That's basically what the meta is here for this blue state and its new blue governor."

The political commentator then broadened his criticism beyond Sherrill's handling of the protests.

"This is the centrist wing of the Democratic Party, ladies and gentlemen. This is what happens," Piker said.

ANTI-ICE PROTESTERS CLASH WITH AGENTS OUTSIDE NEW JERSEY DETENTION CENTER AS GOV. SHERRILL DENIED ENTRY

The comments came as anti-ICE demonstrations continued outside Delaney Hall, where activists have alleged detainees are being held in poor conditions and not receiving adequate food. The Department of Homeland Security has disputed those claims.

Later in the stream, Piker accused Sherrill of helping advance President Donald Trump's immigration policies.

"The story is not the far-left activists continuing to rage at ICE in New Jersey," Piker said. "The real story is the horrifying conditions inside of this facility ... and the governor acting as though she's powerless to put a stop to it, and using what power she does have to basically work alongside the MAGA movement alongside the Trump administration, because these are state troopers in anti-riot gear on horseback."

FEDERAL AGENTS IN NEW JERSEY BEAT BACK ANTI-ICE AGITATORS IN CHAOS OUTSIDE DELANEY HALL DETENTION FACILITY

"These are state troopers that are brutalizing New Jerseyans," he added.

Piker further accused authorities of mistreating journalists covering the demonstrations.

"They're doing Israeli occupying force s---. It's disgusting," he said while discussing reports that an Associated Press photographer was injured while covering the protests.

The streamer also used the broadcast to criticize Democratic lawmakers over immigration policy.

"Democrats have absolutely participated in this process," Piker said, arguing that some members of the party have supported legislation and funding measures related to immigration enforcement.

"I want to change that system," he later added. "Part of that also revolves around getting people elected who will make a big fuss."

NJ DEMOCRATS PUSH ‘F---ICE ACT’ TO LET RESIDENTS SUE OVER IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT

Later in the stream, Piker told viewers, "That's what I'm trying to f---ing change."

In recent months, Piker has crisscrossed the country canvassing for candidates endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America.

During Sunday's livestream, he also voiced support for billionaire gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer and quoted Mao Zedong, the founder of the Chinese Communist Party.

Piker has previously drawn scrutiny for his support of progressive candidates and activism surrounding immigration policy.

Earlier this year, he campaigned in New Jersey for congressional candidate Adam Hamamy, a Democratic Socialists of America-backed candidate whom Piker publicly defended following media scrutiny over his background.

Sherrill's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Roman Reigns domesticates Jacob Fatu to retain World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Clash in Italy

Roman Reigns has been called the "Head of the Table" for a reason.

He was an undisputed WWE champion for years and leader of The Bloodline before he made his way back to the top of the company at WrestleMania 42, defeating CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Since the win, Jacob Fatu has been the biggest thorn in his side. Fatu made clear he wanted everything that Reigns had. Reigns’ win over Fatu at Backlash earlier this month wasn’t enough. He challenged Reigns to Tribal Combat at Clash in Italy – a match meant to put Reigns’ title of "Tribal Chief" on the line.

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON'T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

Reigns had already dispatched challengers to his place in his family when it came to Tribal Combat. Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa both tried and failed over the years. Reigns was trying to make sure that Fatu would never challenge him again in an effort to "domesticate" him. One of the strategies was to eliminate Fatu’s use of the Tongan Death Grip – a move that Fatu has pulled out over and over again.

Reigns used a toolbox to crush Fatu’s hand and, for a moment, keep the use of the Tongan Death Grip at bay. It would take way more than that to keep Fatu down. Reigns knew he needed to dig deep. He speared Fatu through a barricade, trampling security members in the process.

He walked around the ring yelling that he didn’t need anyone’s help as he took off the turnbuckles. Fatu tried to hit another Tongan Death Grip but couldn’t synch it in. Reigns countered with a Superman Punch, but Fatu ate all of them. Reigns tried for a spear, but Fatu hit it on Reigns first.

Fatu hit a pop-up Samona Drop and then a moonsault. Still, he couldn’t pin Reigns. On the second pin attempt, Reigns hit a low blow on Fatu. The two men, leaving it all on the line, were gassed in the middle of the ring.

Reigns got up and smashed Fatu’s head on the exposed turnbuckle. Fatu was dazed and Reigns speared him through the table. Fatu got back up and Reigns hit one more spear. It was the last one he needed.

Reigns defeated Fatu, keeping the World Heavyweight Championship and remaining the Head of the Table.

Fatu must now fall in line behind Reigns and The Usos. However, Solo Sikoa, Talla Tonga and Tama Tonga were also looking on to see Fatu’s loss.

Dem lawmakers gripe about the 'economic violence' of not being paid to stay home from work when menstruating

Democratic lawmakers complained in late May about employers not providing paid leave for painful menstruation cycles, calling it "economic violence."

"Forcing a worker to choose between paying her rent or losing a day's pay to recover from a grueling gynecological procedure is not a choice. It’s economic violence," Rep. Adelita Grijalva, D-Ariz., said during a press conference on May 21.

Grijalva was joined by Reps. Yassamin Ansari, D-Ariz., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., who are backing Ansari's Reproductive Healthcare Leave Act, which is a part of her "H.E.R." (Healthy, Equity, Rights) Agenda.

NJ SENATE VOTES 38–0 TO REQUIRE FREE MENSTRUAL PRODUCTS AT PUBLIC COLLEGES UNDER ‘MENSTRUAL EQUITY’ BILL

The Reproductive Healthcare Leave Act (H.R. 8158) — the flagship bill — would provide up to 12 days of paid leave per year for reproductive health needs, including severe menstrual pain, abortions, menopause symptoms, miscarriages, biopsies, vasectomies and more. The "H.E.R." Agenda also includes studies regarding gynecological pain management and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder awareness.

"No one should have to choose between their paycheck and their health to be able to manage that kind of incredible pain," Tlaib said during the press conference.

DEMOCRATS REVOLT OVER 'BIOLOGICAL' WORDING IN WOMEN'S HISTORY MUSEUM BILL

Ansari, the youngest woman in Congress, ties the bill to her own period pain, telling TIME in an article published on Sunday that she once woke up the floor of her "local bodega, drenched in sweat, being dragged into an ambulance" and said she has days every month when she feels "barbed wire" inside of her.

The bill, introduced Saturday with 28 Democratic cosponsors and zero Republican sponsors, has already received backlash.

"Ladies, you can’t keep saying men can be women, but then also say that women are a special category. You’ve got to pick a lane. You’re very confusing to the rest of us." Rhode Island state Rep. Marie Hopkins, R., posted on X.

MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE LAUNCHES PROBE INTO PLANNED PARENTHOOD'S USE OF TAXPAYER FUNDS

Some social media users also questioned whether the bill could more easily allow employees to discriminate against hiring women and shared concerns that despite it covering vasectomies, men wouldn't receive paid days for prostate issues and testosterone-related conditions.

Other users also questioned if the bill could force employers to pay workers for time off to recover from abortions.

The bill is endorsed by Planned Parenthood, the National Organization for Women (NOW) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Planned Parenthood Votes vice president Angela Vasquez-Giroux told Bloomberg in an article published on Friday that though there were "roadblocks to the bills becoming law," it doesn't mean lawmakers shouldn't try.

"We’ve seen overwhelming success from candidates who have a plan and have a point of view," vice president of communications for Planned Parenthood Votes Angela Vasquez-Giroux told Bloomberg. "Just because we can’t get something passed over the opposition of the majority at the time doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t be putting forward our vision for the world we want to create.

Sol Ruca rides wave of success to Women's Intercontinental Championship win at WWE Clash in Italy

Sol Ruca rode a wave of massive success to become the new women’s intercontinental champion on Sunday at Clash in Italy as she defeated Becky Lynch.

It was a rematch from their brief bout at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Lynch had pushed referee Jessica Carr in front of her as Ruca nailed a Sol Snatcher. Carr called for a disqualification on Lynch, giving Ruca the win. But it didn’t do what either of them had hoped. Ruca didn’t prove herself enough in "The Man’s" eyes while Lynch was hoping to move on from the rising star.

SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis booked a rematch with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line. Ruca stepped up and delivered in a big way.

Lynch tried to get inside Ruca’s head as much as she could. The trash talking, pushing Carr into the ropes to knock Ruca down and even attempting a Sol Snatcher herself were not enough to slow down Ruca.

As the match came to an end, Ruca hit a Sol Snatcher out of nowhere to crush Lynch and end her reign as the women’s intercontinental champion.

It was the first major win for Ruca since she joined the main roster. She defeated Bayley on Saturday Night’s Main Event back in December when John Cena specifically chose her to be on the card. She’s been one of the top prospects on NXT and has now made a major impact on the WWE roster.

Lynch’s reign ends after 43 days. She won the title back at WrestleMania 42, which made her the first three-time women’s intercontinental champion since the belt was introduced.

Brock Lesnar conquers Oba Femi in epic second match of rivalry at WWE Clash in Italy

Absolute destruction.

That’s what was expected when Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar stepped into the ring for a second match at Clash in Italy on Sunday and it delivered and then some.

It was an all-out blitz from both men. Lesnar started Femi with four consecutive F-5s as he tried to make quick work of "The Ruler" just like when he made a surprise return to "Monday Night Raw" to answer the open challenge. But Femi wasn’t as caught-off guard as he was earlier this month. Femi kicked out of Lesnar’s pin attempt.

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON'T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

Lesnar went to his mixed martial arts background and tried to get Femi to tap out with a kimura lock. Though Lesnar did damage to Femi’s arm, the Nigerian giant wasn’t about to give up that easily. He got the upper hand on Lesnar as the two went out of the ring.

Lesnar hit a fifth F-5 and then delivered his sixth onto Michael Cole and Corey Graves’ announce table. "The Beast" got back into the ring and waited for the referee to count to 10 and cement the victory. As the referee got to six, Femi stood straight up as if the sixth finishing maneuver that Lesnar delivered was almost non-existent.

Femi came back and hit Lesnar with running uppercuts. Femi tried to hit Lesnar with a Fall from Grace, but Lesnar wiggled out of it. Lesnar put Femi on his shoulders, hitting a seventh F-5 and pinning Femi for the win.

"You’re done b---h," Lesnar exclaimed before he walked to the back.

Lesnar made the decision to forgo retirement for a little bit longer to keep a rivalry with Femi afloat. Their series is now tied at one apiece with a third match obviously coming soon.

It would be great to see both men go to a Last Man Standing Match to end the series. Can anyone say, "SummerSlam?"

Rhea Ripley curiously gets help from Charlotte Flair to retain women's title at WWE Clash in Italy

Rhea Ripley proved on Sunday at Clash in Italy why she’s one of the most dominant female wrestlers on the roster with a victory over Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.

Cargill’s confidence showed throughout the match. She would hit a move and then immediately taunt Ripley with push-ups. Cargill moved seamlessly around Ripley and did her best to try to dethrone Ripley and win the title back after losing it at WrestleMania 42.

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON'T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

Ripley proved to be too much to handle. The two went toe-to-toe for several minutes before Cargill’s allies came down to the ring. Ripley seemingly had the match in the bag when B-Fab put Cargill’s foot on the rope and broke the pin attempt.

However, Charlotte Flair would come out of the stands and take out B-Fab and Michin. Flair then helped break Cargill’s pin attempt after a Jaded.

With Cargill distracted, Ripley went on the offensive. She nailed Cargill with a headbutt and then the Riptide to pin Cargill for the win. Flair watched Cargill roll out of the ring and then went into a long stare.

Ripley and Flair have an extensive history with each other with their epic match at WrestleMania 39 being one of the highlights of their time together in the ring. Flair and Ripley have grown closer during Ripley’s feud with Cargill, but their own alliance isn’t exactly strong.

It feels as though Flair could soon be looking for her own shot at the WWE Women’s Championship with a few months to go before a two-night SummerSlam in Minneapolis.

Trans-identifying cyclist wins two Oregon women’s races by combined 48 minutes under OBRA rules

A trans-identifying biological male cyclist won two Oregon women’s mountain bike races in an eight-day span, including one by more than 36 minutes.

Chloë Spritz won the Elite Women division at Silver Falls XC in Silver Falls State Park on May 16, according to official results posted by the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association. Spritz finished in 2:16:37. Stephanie Taplin, the only other listed Elite Women finisher, came in second at 2:52:38.

That's a 36-minute, one-second margin.

Eight days later, Spritz won the Elite Women division at Sisters Stampede, the OBRA XC MTB Championship, in Sisters, Oregon. Spritz finished in 1:43:13. Hannah Thomas, again the only other listed Elite Women finisher, came in second at 1:55:29.

That's another 12-minute, 16-second gap.

And this was not just a local race with no championship implications. OBRA listed Sisters Stampede as the OBRA XC MTB Championship, and OBRA’s administrative rules say State Championship medals and jerseys are awarded only to annual members.

So, to recap: Spritz won two Elite Women races in May 2026 by a combined 48 minutes and 17 seconds over the only other listed finishers.

But the results are only part of the story.

Now comes the policy that made it possible.

OBRA’s 2026 racing rules state that, for all OBRA-sanctioned events and categories, including OBRA Championships, members may self-select the gender category that best aligns with their gender identity in everyday life. The rules also extend that policy to non-binary and gender-expansive members, who may choose either the Men/Open or Women category.

In other words, OBRA’s women’s category is not based on biological sex, testosterone thresholds or whether an athlete experienced male puberty. It is based entirely on self-identified gender identity. That's a problem.

OREGON GIRLS WHO WENT VIRAL FOR REFUSING TO STAND ON PODIUM WITH TRANS ATHLETE FILE LAWSUIT

The rules also say that if a member files a grievance, the member must provide evidence that another rider’s gender identity does not match that rider’s everyday life, and OBRA will not investigate a member’s gender identity until sufficient evidence is provided.

That's not much of a path for female athletes who object on fairness grounds.

A woman who believes she should not have to race against a biological male is not really being given a biological-sex argument under that rule. She is being told to prove the athlete’s gender identity is not consistent in everyday life.

But it gets worse.

OBRA’s Code of Conduct includes gender identity in its harassment policy. The code says harassment can include negative or disparaging comments about a participant’s gender identity, lists no exceptions and says harassment violations can lead to discipline, including suspension or expulsion from OBRA.

So female cyclists are put in a nearly impossible position.

They can lose to a biological male in the women’s category. They can be told the rules allow it. And if they complain too loudly, they risk having their objections framed as harassment.

That's the opposite of protecting women’s sports.

FEMALE CYCLIST DEFENDS 'TAKING A STAND' ON WOMEN'S SPORTS BY REFUSING TO TAKE PODIUM WITH TRANS WINNER

USA Cycling has gone in the opposite direction. Its competition category policy, effective Sept. 15 2025, says the women’s category is limited to individuals who meet its definition of female, and that an individual who was not identified as female at birth may not participate in the women’s category at USA Cycling-sanctioned competitive events.

The UCI, cycling’s international governing body, also moved in July 2023 to prohibit trans-identifying biological males who went through male puberty from competing in women’s events on the UCI International Calendar. The organization said scientific knowledge did not confirm that hormone therapy could fully eliminate the advantages gained from male puberty.

So the national and international governing bodies have recognized the problem.

OBRA apparently has not.

OutKick has covered this issue in cycling repeatedly. Austin Killips, a biological male, won a women’s race by more than five minutes in 2023, and female cyclist Paige Onweller called out the obvious fairness problem afterward.

OutKick also reported in 2024 that cycling teams featuring transgender racers, biological males, swept the top three spots in a women’s race in Washington.

Oregon has also become one of the flashpoints in the larger women’s sports debate. OutKick previously spoke with Oregon high school athlete Lilian Hammond about trans-identifying males competing in girls’ sports, and the Department of Education later opened a Title IX investigation into Portland Public Schools, OSAA and the Oregon Department of Education over gender-identity participation policies.

Different sport, same issue.

Women’s categories exist for a reason. They exist because males and females are physically different. They exist because female athletes deserve their own division, their own podiums, their own championship opportunities and their own recognition.

Spritz did not break OBRA’s rules.

That’s why this isn’t about one person.

The rules are the problem.

Hezbollah's 'game changing' night-hunting weapon punches through Israel's defenses: expert

Hezbollah has begun unleashing "game changing" waves of "lethal" nighttime drones against Israel, a defense expert warns, with the attacks contributing to casualties, defense breaches and plunging parts of the border region into chaos, according to reports.

Escalating deployments by Hezbollah had also prompted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to convene an emergency security meeting on May 30 following a surprise Hezbollah strike, amid reports of "utter chaos" as Israeli forces scrambled to respond.

"These nighttime drones are the very small Category 1 and Category 2 drones," defense expert and Draganfly CEO Cameron Chell told Fox News Digital.

"They are generally used by squads on the ground to go and conduct tactical lethal missions or surveillance missions right in theater immediately. What they are able to do is use thermal sensors to be able to fly at night and use heat signatures to spot IDF troops," he said.

ISRAEL SAYS IT IS STRIKING HEZBOLLAH TARGETS IN LEBANON

"Hezbollah now has nighttime capabilities, which is game changing," Chell added.

"What you will see is an escalation of the use of drones and the innovation of asymmetric warfare in that particular area by Hezbollah," he warned.

Chell’s comments came amid reports of makeshift defenses with nets being deployed against the backdrop of a significant shift in the conflict.

Israeli soldiers have resorted to buying commercial fishing and soccer nets to entangle the incoming aerial threats, according to reports.

"This means that there is a whole other set of countermeasures that the IDF has to put in place, whether it is electronic jamming, net guns or the use of netting just to put in front of installations or in front of vehicles to try to stop the final impact of the drone if it is a strike drone," Chell added.

"The IDF will have to change a lot of their tactics regarding their ability to move around and conduct operations at night. Now they will have to factor in the fact that Hezbollah has nighttime capabilities to at least do observation using thermal cameras, as well as strike capabilities."

Netanyahu called a meeting with top officials following an intense Hezbollah rocket and drone blitz that caught the military off guard on Saturday.

According to a report by Channel 13, the Israeli army was surprised by the scale of the fire as well as Hezbollah's decision to shift its operational policy in response to the expansion of Israel’s ground operations beyond the Litani River.

Reports from the ground described "utter chaos" in parts of the north. While rockets were said to have hit the cities, Hezbollah simultaneously launched waves of drone strikes.

Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem has also touted the militant group’s drone capabilities, calling them an effective weapon against Israeli forces operating near and inside southern Lebanon

Netanyahu has also described Hezbollah's drone capabilities as a major threat given the difficulty in detecting them.

"Hezbollah have got a supply line or supply chain of some sort set up," Chell added before stating that they are not "using stuff that is groundbreaking; this is very old technology and tactics that they are using."

"That said, somebody is making the equipment available to Hezbollah — whether it is coming via Iran, China, Russia, Afghanistan or the black market, someone is getting enough product and feeding it into their supply chains," Chell warned.
