Trump-linked MAGA Inc pours $10M into Ken Paxton's Texas Senate race against James Talarico
MAGA, Inc., the super PAC connected to President Donald Trump, has made its first major midterm buy: $10 million in ad spending to support Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in his Senate race, according to a new filing with the Federal Election Commission.
Paxton and Democrat state Rep. James Talarico are locked in a tight race where polls continually show the two candidates neck and neck.
The $10 million will go toward digital and TV ads across the state.

Trump’s endorsement earlier this year already helped Paxton beat out incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the Republican primary.
"While James Talarico has a record of raising taxes on working families, my Protecting the Texas Promise Agenda cuts costs and makes life more affordable. Thank you, President @realDonaldTrump, for your support," Paxton wrote on X on Saturday while sharing a post about the ad buy. "Together we will win for Texas and America."
The decision comes after weeks of speculation over whether the super PAC would put money into the hotly contested race.
Talarico’s campaign also responded to the move, telling Fox News Digital: "Billionaire-backed dark money groups are lying about James Talarico because they’re scared of the people-powered movement we’re building to fix this broken, corrupt political system."

Talarico, who has called for higher taxes on the wealthy, called out billionaires heading to the Republican midterm convention starting on Wednesday.
"Next week, billionaire mega-donors and their puppet politicians will gather at a convention in Dallas to clink champagne glasses and toast their own corruption," he said. "They’re paying $20,000 for entry to a Billionaire Ball celebrating corrupt tariffs, billionaire tax breaks, and a new forever war that are all driving grocery costs through the roof. We’ll be doing something different. We’re bringing Republicans, Democrats, and Independents together to collect groceries for our neighbors who have been screwed over by corrupt politicians."
Calling him "High Tax Talarico," MAGA Inc. spokesperson Alex Pfeiffer told Fox News Digital the Democrat "wants to take money out of Texans' pockets. MAGA Inc. is going to ensure Texas knows about Talarico's radical policies and elects Ken Paxton to the U.S. Senate."

Talarico’s campaign has raised $72 million since the campaign began, mostly from small donors, compared to $16.8 million by Paxton’s campaign, according to the Texas Tribune.
The two anti-Talarico ads slam his policies on taxes and rural hospitals while touting Paxton’s support for doubling the child tax credit, allowing tax breaks for medical expenses and a $50,000 deduction for first-time homebuyers.
MAGA, Inc. has around $400 million in campaign funds, which Trump called "my money" while speaking to reporters this week, adding, "I’m going to spend whatever amount of money necessary to try and help us."

Tennessee Volunteers fans pay incredible tribute to Dolly Parton during season opener
The death of country music, movie, theme park and, frankly, all-around icon Dolly Parton hit a lot of people hard.
That includes folks in her home state of Tennessee, a place she was virtually synonymous with.
On Saturday, the Tennessee Volunteers football team opened its 2026 season, and the entire Neyland Stadium crowd paid tribute to the late legend.

It was announced ahead of the game that one of the tributes to Parton — an orange butterfly decal with her name on it — would be on the back of every Volunteers player's helmet.
Head coach Josh Heupel revealed that the decal will be sticking around all season long.
"All that she's meant across the world, this country, and certainly the Queen of East Tennessee," Heupel said, per ESPN. "A lady that was extremely proud of her roots. You look at her impact, just her ability to give back, make an impact to people, certainly here in East Tennessee. She means a lot to people across this country, but certainly here inside the state of Tennessee, too."
The Volunteers hosted the Furman Paladins on Saturday, and there were more tributes on the way during the game.
Perhaps the biggest came when the entire stadium — 102,000 fans strong — joined together to sing Parton's 1974 hit "I Will Always Love You" in unison.
Probably more than a few people in the stands were cutting onions during that one.
What a moment.
But there was more. For the last couple of seasons, the Vols have played the Morgan Wallen song "The Way I Talk" during the fourth quarter.

Next Sunday will mark the beginning of what could be Aaron Rodgers’ final NFL season. The four-time league MVP signed a one-year contract during the offseason to return to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Rodgers’ potential retirement has been widely discussed, and more details emerged this week about what his life could look like beyond football.
Starting a family appears to be among the 42-year-old quarterback’s priorities whenever he does decide to step away from the game. Rodgers told SiriusXM that he hopes he and his wife will be in the midst of doing so by this time next year.
"I'm hopefully going to be supporting my pregnant wife because we're going to start a family and I am not going to be making a lot of appearances or statements," Rodgers told SiriusXM's "Mad Dog Radio."
"And I’m looking forward to a life of quiet after 22 years in the pros and three in college and getting my body healed up and working on a family. That’s what I’m looking forward to."
The conversation then turned to whether Rodgers was simply looking ahead or hinting at something more immediate. "I’m talking about I’m hoping that I have a pregnant wife by next [year] this time," Rodgers said.
After a period of distance from some relatives, Rodgers acknowledged that reconnecting with them had influenced his hopes of starting a family. Rodgers added that he's enjoyed spending time with his brother’s children.

Dr Phil says Lindsay Clancy mistrial a 'teachable moment' on postpartum psychosis: 'There was a failure here'
Dr. Phil McGraw on Saturday weighed in on the Lindsay Clancy trial, one day after the judge declared a mistrial when the jurors were unable to reach a unanimous verdict in the killings of her three children.
The defense team of the mother who admitted to strangling her three children to death in 2023 claims the 36-year-old was suffering from postpartum psychosis and wasn’t in control of her actions when she killed her children.
McGraw told Fox News anchor Aishah Hasnie on "Fox News Live" Saturday that Clancy's children — Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and Callan, 8 months — "are the real folks we need to give our attention to here. Three innocent children did lose their lives, and you can never explain these situations away simply."
He said it also concerns him when mental illness gets depicted in the courtroom, it becomes "kind of a political, ideological football that’s used to try to skew something or is kind of debunked by another side rather than looking at what actually took place."
McGraw stressed that there eventually will be "accountability" in the case. Even if she’s not found criminally responsible, "she’s not going home."
"She’s going to have to live with this the rest of her life and probably in a psychiatric facility if, in fact, she is not guilty by reason of mental defect or disease," he said.
"I think people underestimate the power of psychosis in taking over someone’s life. It’s not an excuse, but, for example, if she had a brain tumor you could see on an X-ray, people would go ‘OK, I get that.’ And when you have what took place here, it could be just as powerful as someone whose brain is hijacked by a tumor.
"I’m not excusing what she did in any way," he said. "I think she should be held fully accountable, but I think we need to understand causation."
The prosecution made a "pretty clunky presentation," McGraw said, adding that he felt they got their act together "in the end."
"I’ve spent a lot of my professional career working in trial sciences and dealing with juries and juries looking for a coherent explanation," he explained.
He said the defense’s explanation was "much more understandable and much more coherent than what the prosecution did.
McGraw also worried that the case could cause a "copycat" effect.
"We certainly don’t want that to take place here, so we need to look at what the cultural effects are," he said.
There is also a "huge" difference between postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis, he stressed.
"Postpartum psychosis is a psychiatric emergency that requires immediate hospitalization," he said. "It’s not a time to adjust medications. It’s not a time to schedule an extra appointment during the week. It is a psychiatric emergency that requires in-patient care and separation from the children. Not tomorrow morning, not tomorrow afternoon, but immediately."
He called Clancy’s case a "psychiatric emergency that wasn’t treated as such."
It’s one thing to use the case as a "teachable moment for the country," McGraw cautioned, but it’s another for people to raise her up as some kind of "heroine."
"There’s nothing to be celebrated here," he said. "If there’s any lesson to be taken for our culture, it’s that there was a failure here. This was a woman who asked for help. She admitted herself to the hospital. Was that enough?"
The jury "tends to get it right," he said, explaining that they were "headed toward committing her for a long period of time."
"I think people need to understand that mental illness is a serious, serious issue," he said, adding he was worried that people would forget about Cora, Dawson and Callan.
"I hate we are focusing everywhere except there," he said. "And there are a lot of fingers to point, but now’s not the time to do that. We need to adjudicate this case, and then we need to step back and say, ‘What can we learn from this?’
Situations like Clancy’s case "occur one or two times out of 1,000," McGraw explained, "but that’s not nothing. One or two times out of 1,000 are one or two times too many. This is avoidable."
His wish is that people would pay attention to the "red flags" depicted in Clancy’s case that can be "internalized to help mothers when they get in over their heads and need the kind of intervention that was needed here."
"Reach out for help," he urged. "It’s not weakness. It’s strength."
In-N-Out's popular burger style started with a customer request decades ago
In-N-Out Burger is known for its simple menu, with basic burgers, fries and shakes. Yet by 2005, the fast-food chain was listing some of its most popular off-menu orders on a "Not-So-Secret Menu" online.
Among the most famous off-menu offerings is the Animal Style burger, which the company website says is a "burger of your choice with hand-leafed lettuce, tomato, a mustard-cooked beef patty; add pickle, extra spread, with grilled onions."
In-N-Out’s website says the restaurants accommodate special orders because they’re "all about making our customers happy," and that’s just how the Animal Style burger got its start.

"The name was created there on the spot. Over the years, many of the variations in preparation for our basic menu items were given names, usually by the customers who frequently ordered their burgers that way. The terms were merely used to describe a way of preparing an order or a menu item exactly the way a customer wanted it."

Warnick said some of those names stuck, and, today, many customers order from the "secret" menu.
"Whether a ‘secret menu’ order or not, we still cook every burger fresh-to-order, exactly how the customer wants it," he said.
In addition to Animal Style, In-N-Out includes on its off-menu list Double-Meat with two beef patties; the 3x3, with three beef patties and three slices of American cheese; the 4x4, which is the same as the 3x3 but with an added patty and cheese slice; the Grilled Cheese, which replaces a burger patty with two slices of American cheese; and Protein Style, which is "your favorite burger wrapped in hand-leafed lettuce instead of a bun."
Founders Harry and Esther Snyder opened the first In-N-Out in a suburb of Los Angeles in 1948. According to the company’s website, it was California’s first drive-thru hamburger stand.
By 1973, there were 13 restaurants open, all in Los Angeles County.

Today, the company is still privately owned by the Snyder family, and there are more than 400 locations in 10 states.
The off-menu options have been an open secret for decades.
The Los Angeles Times reported in 2004 that In-N-Out customers had known about ordering their burgers Animal Style "for years."
"Relish the not-so-secret menu," the Times advised in 2005, noting that customers could find the secret menu on In-N-Out’s website and suggesting they try their burgers Animal Style and fries well done.
"Then try to find the little Bible verse references hidden in the wrappers and stamped under the cups, a fun game if you’re trying to sober up from an evening out," the Times added.

Though Animal Style is well known by now, the special burger is still attracting new converts.
"Got my burger Animal Style for the first time," a Redditor wrote on a subreddit two years ago. "It honestly was a game changer and is my new order. I don’t think I will ever go back."
"From LA. My parents have been going to [In-N-Out] long before I was born, and they just learned about Animal Style a month ago," another user responded. "I couldn’t believe my frickin ears."
Another off-menu order not listed on In-N-Out’s online menu is the Flying Dutchman — two patties and two cheese slices without buns or condiments — which the company says on its history page was created by former CEO Guy Snyder before he died in 1999.

Granted, Miami played a Stanford team that was missing half its roster due to injury and probably isn't much to write home about even when fully healthy.
But those numbers would look good in a 7-on-7 scrimmage, let alone in a conference game on the road three time zones from home.
Mensah looked as good as the numbers suggested, too, ripping NFL-level throws and distributing the ball to his myriad playmakers, namely wide receiver Malachi Toney.
Somehow, some way, Cristobal and the Canes have another quarterback who can realistically win the Heisman trophy and lead them on a deep Playoff run.
The schedule for Miami won't offer a ton of resistance either; there will be far more Stanford-level teams than Playoff-caliber ones.
When you combine all that and Mensah's skill with the weapons he's been surrounded with (not to mention elite offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson), the Hurricanes might be here to stay.

EXCLUSIVE: FBI's fifth Most Wanted Fraudster captured after alleged SNAP scam suspect arrested in India
FIRST ON FOX: The FBI's Most Wanted Fraudsters initiative notched its fifth arrest in just three months after authorities in India arrested Manjit Singh Bedi Friday, and the bureau is working to return the alleged SNAP benefits fraud suspect to the United States, Fox News Digital has learned.
The FBI worked with Indian authorities to secure Bedi's arrest and is actively working to return him to the U.S. to face charges, according to the bureau.
Bedi's arrest is the fifth through the FBI's Most Wanted Fraudsters initiative, which targets fugitives accused of major financial crimes.
Launched in June, the initiative has led to the arrests of five fugitives whom the FBI says are collectively accused of more than $2 billion in alleged fraud after spending nearly 4,000 combined days on the run.
FBI officials say the latest arrest underscores the bureau's effort to pursue alleged fraudsters who fled overseas in an attempt to evade prosecution.
"Five Most Wanted Fraudsters captured in just three months is a historic success for this initiative," FBI Director Kash Patel told Fox News Digital.
"The days of taking advantage of American taxpayers without consequence are over."
Federal investigators allege Bedi defrauded the U.S. government out of at least $600,000 through a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) fraud scheme between March 2024 and June 2025, while operating an Asian grocery store in Tacoma, Washington.
According to the FBI, Bedi swiped SNAP recipients' Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards, gave them cash instead of eligible food purchases and kept roughly half of the benefits for himself.
After being indicted on wire fraud and SNAP benefits fraud charges, Bedi was ordered to surrender his passport and remain in Washington state while awaiting court proceedings, according to the FBI.
Investigators allege he instead drove across the Canadian border before fleeing to India. A federal arrest warrant charging him with violating the conditions of his release was issued on May 21, 2026.
The FBI had offered a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to Bedi's arrest and conviction. The bureau said the naturalized U.S. citizen was believed to be living in India before his arrest.
"As this arrest in India shows, the Justice Department's reach extends to every corner of the planet," Assistant Attorney General Colin M. McDonald of the Justice Department's National Fraud Enforcement Division told Fox News Digital.
"The Fraud Division will continue to work hand-in-hand with the FBI to ensure fraudsters like Bedi are held accountable, no matter where they hide."
Former Pentagon AI chief warns Flock cameras could create 'China-like surveillance state' in the US
Former Pentagon AI Policy Director Mark Beall warned that expanding artificial intelligence surveillance tools, like Flock cameras, could turn American communities into a "China-like surveillance state" unless guardrails are enforced.
Speaking on "Saturday in America," Beall argued that while this technology can have vital law enforcement benefits, clear rules and judicial oversight are necessary to protect the rights of Americans at home.
"We have to be careful that we don't go too far to the other direction and create a China-like surveillance state, which is literally what AI capabilities will ultimately enable and are enabling right now," Beall told Fox News.

From destroyed camera poles to viral signs blocking surveillance lenses, some communities are pushing back against neighborhood surveillance cameras. Flock cameras are automated license plate readers used by law enforcement to record vehicle data that can aid criminal investigations. People in communities with the cameras have raised concerns about privacy and potential misuse by law enforcement.
Beall acknowledged that the technology can benefit law enforcement but said people’s privacy concerns are also valid. He urged a compromise and called for guardrails on how the cameras can be used, including strict rules and court oversight to prevent officers from abusing the technology for personal reasons.
"It’s tough to bring the message of compromise to the American people, especially when it comes to our constitutional protections," Beall said.
"I think what we're seeing across the board when it comes to artificial intelligence is that the innovation upside is so tremendous, but across all of these different use cases, including the Flock cameras, what we really need are strong guardrails, a strong policy that allows us to maintain those special values, the American founding principles that make this country so great," he added.
Lawmakers from both parties have raised similar concerns and called for rules governing the surveillance technology. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., has proposed banning the technology outright, and Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., has pushed to cut federal funding for local installations.
In Florida, transportation officials have ordered law enforcement agencies to take down the license plate readers from state highways. They cited privacy concerns and reports of misuse of the technology.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis criticized the cameras at a news conference Monday, saying, "If you want to get in your car, and you want to go down to Buc-ee's in St. Augustine, it's really none of the government's damn business if you're doing that, right? What we don't want in the state of Florida is to have a digital AI surveillance state where everything we're doing is being tracked at all times."
He added the technology has sometimes been useful but questioned where the data is going and how it is being stored.
"They claim that the companies aren't going to misuse it, but no one's watching that, and I know you can make some money selling cameras, but you really can make a lot of money if you can sell people's data," DeSantis said.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Flock Safety said it announced new safeguards, including cutting default data retention to seven days, making misuse detection mandatory for every customer and calling on the broader surveillance industry to meet those same standards.
In August, Flock Safety CEO Garrett Langley addressed privacy and safety concerns in an interview with Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany.
"When people talk about just one of these, privacy or safety, they're prioritizing the wrong thing, and what we have to prioritize as a country is compromise," Langley told Fox News. "How do we have our safety, and how do we balance privacy?"

He said the company is focused on ensuring the technology is used for good, including by recommending seven-day data retention limits and holding those who misuse the system accountable.
"Today, it is too often that in Flock and in other technologies, there's no regulation. There's no accountability, and we think that's wrong," Langley said.
"We announced changes that required auditing, that required using our audit assistance tool, which detects abnormal behavior, and we're calling on state regulators to focus less on banning this type of technology and more [on] holding our law enforcement community accountable."

Bunnie Xo revealed the physical toll heartbreak has taken on her as she navigates her divorce from Jelly Roll.
"There were moments where my team had to pick me up off the floor and get me IVs because I wasn't eating," Bunnie said during an appearance on "Open Book with Jenna Bush Hager."
"I was eating baby food to get by, you know," she revealed. "I lost 20 pounds because of heartbreak.'"

Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo May 18, but the "Son of a Sinner" singer listed the date of separation as May 9. The two first met in 2015 after the former sex worker met the rising star at a concert in Las Vegas, and they eloped a year later.
Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll were married nearly 10 years before their divorce was finalized in July.
Shortly after announcing the divorce, Bunnie Xo used her podcast to share the intimate details of the split. She later deleted it from YouTube.

"Oh, everybody loves to watch a train wreck. So, I mean, yeah, I was not going to participate in that circus," she told Hager. "I am my own person. I stand on my own two feet, even alongside my ex-husband.
"I was still my own entity and had my own brand aside from him," she added. "So, yeah, I don't see why I couldn't continue to stand on my own two feet and not have to dwell in that space of emotion."
As Bunnie picks up the pieces after the end of her nearly decade-long marriage, she said she’s entered a new chapter focused on putting herself first without feeling guilty about it.

"It's just pouring back into yourself," she explained. "It's being selfish. It's OK to be selfish. We as women feel like we need permission to be selfish, and we don't. Tell your kids to go to bed and eat the freaking brownies without them, you know? Even if it's something as small as that, we deserve to be selfish.
"We deserve to have our own time, and we deserve to pour into each other," Bunnie added. "I'm having so much fun."

And while Bunnie has been enjoying her newfound freedom, she insists her post-divorce adventures haven’t been nearly as scandalous as some might assume from what they see online.
"I mean, it's been — you know, it's so funny — people probably think I'm out here doing, like, ho activities, and I'm not," she claimed. "I swear to God. Literally, we're at home playing — what's it called? — Cards Against Humanity. … We're swimming, we're working out. You guys see only what I put on social media."

In early July, Bunnie was spotted with a new, younger man. In video obtained by TMZ, Bunnie Xo kissed 24-year-old reality star Dylan Wolf in Nashville at Jelly Roll's bar.
She clarified that not everyone she's seen out with is a romantic partner.
"I'm like, 'Can your girl have some fun?' I'm going, 'You guys are going to see me with multiple men, maybe even a couple women," Bunnie joked. "You never know. Maybe even a freaking camel."
