Adrien Grenier calls out 'woke liberal college kids' trying to tell farmers how to do their jobs
Adrian Grenier has "compassion" for farmers who are met with people trying to tell them how to do their jobs.
During a recent interview on "The Dan Buettner Podcast," the 49-year-old actor spoke about his passion for sustainability and why people should "show some respect" to farmers and understand the realities they are facing before judging how they operate.
"Frankly, these woke liberal college kids who come in with all these big ideas trying to tell farmers that they got to do one thing because it's bad for the environment," he said. "Well, you know, put your money where your mouth is and go out and try and solve for farming practices instead of telling the farmers who are in the trenches trying to make food that you don't even want to pay whatever for organic cause it's too expensive."
He explained that having grown up in New York, he didn't know much about farming, but as an environmentalist, he "had all these abstract ideas of how things should be," he understood why farmers may "turn to chemical fertilizers."

"I get the luxury of trying to reinvent and figure out regenerative, healthy, organic ways of doing things, but it's hard," he explained. "If my crop dies, I'll still get to eat. Farmer's, their margins are razor-thin, and if they lose a crop, their family doesn't eat."
Grenier also discussed his life as an actor, and why he chose to leave Hollywood. The actor initially left Hollywood in 2016, but has appeared in projects since then.
Known for his roles in "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Entourage," Grenier explained that on episodes of the show there were never any consequences for bad behavior, but that "real life isn't like that."
"I always attempted to keep a level head about myself, even though as time went on I realized that I had indulged a little too much in that world, that I had forgotten my true center or my north star, or perhaps I never had a north star to begin with, but I had to reorient myself with spirituality and my purpose on the planet," he said.

Ultimately, he came to realize that the path he was on was not leading him anywhere good, leaving him to think, "What have I given? What have I cultivated?"
He told "Today with Hoda & Jenna" in February 2024 that he felt as if he "was flying high for many years" living in Hollywood and New York, noting "I live a much more grounded lifestyle now."
In 2020, the actor founded Kintsugi Ranch with his wife, Jordan Roemmele, outside of Austin, Texas, and has been involved with environmental work for many years, calling the farm his "ultimate recognition of" what he wants to do with his time on Earth.

"You sleep better, you're more grounded, you have a sense of wellbeing," he told People about life on the farm in September 2023. "It's good for mental health, it's good for skill building, resilience and all of that. I think it allows you to make more informed, wiser choices when it comes to how you live, how you treat others, and in particular, how you treat the environment."
Although he has slowed down in the acting sphere, Grenier recently hosted the reality show 'CryptoKnights,' and also recently wrapped production on the film, "You, Always."
Brown University confirms 'multiple' shot in campus shooting, no suspects in custody
The Providence Police Department confirmed "multiple" people were shot after gunfire rang out late Saturday afternoon at Brown University in Rhode Island.
School officials confirmed emergency medical personnel are on scene after an active shooter was reported near the Barus and Holley engineering building on Hope Street.
Just before 5:30 p.m. local time, the university said there were also reports of shots fired near Governor Street.
An alert text message sent to students said to "lock doors, silence phones and stay hidden until further notice."
"Remember: RUN, if you are in the affected location, evacuate safely if you can; HIDE, if evacuation is not possible, take cover; FIGHT, as a last resort, take action to protect yourself," school officials wrote in the alert. "Stay tuned for further safety information."
SOUTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY ON LOCKDOWN AFTER REPORTED DORM SHOOTING ON CAMPUS
As of 5:11 p.m. local time, no suspects were in custody, according to a Brown University alert.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are at the scene, according to university officials.
"This is an active investigation," Providence Police Department officials wrote in a statement on X. "Please shelter in place or avoid the area until further notice."
Brown University, the Providence Police Department and Rhode Island State Police did not immediately respond to inquiries from Fox News Digital.
Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee said in a statement on X he is actively monitoring the Brown University shooting.
"Our teams at @RIStatePolice and @RhodeIslandEMA are working closely with local law enforcement," McKee wrote in the post. "Please stay clear of the area and monitor official channels for updates. Praying for our community."
Brown University kicked off final exams Thursday.
It is unclear how many students and faculty were in the affected buildings when the shooting occurred.
Several buildings were placed on lockdown, according to the school newspaper.
The private, Ivy League institution is located in Providence, Rhode Island, a coastal city about 50 miles south of Boston.

One person killed after U-Haul truck explodes in Idaho retail shopping center parking lot
One person is dead following a U-Haul truck explosion early Saturday morning, authorities said.
The blast happened around 7:15 a.m. in the parking lot of an Old Navy store in Lewiston, Idaho, just across the border from Washington state.
Preliminary findings suggest the blast was accidental.
Investigators say the truck appeared to be carrying stored materials, including gasoline and propane tanks, according to a joint statement from the Lewiston Police Department and Lewiston Fire Department.

"At this time, there is no indication the incident is criminal in nature," Lewiston Fire Marshal Julian Sorrell said in a statement.
The explosion caused damage to nearby businesses, including Old Navy and the Courtyard Marriott. No fire erupted following the blast, officials said.

Tulsi Gabbard warns of 'direct threat' from suspected terrorists now living in United States
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard issued a warning about suspected terrorists inside the United States, blaming the Biden administration for what she called a "direct threat" to the lives of the American people.
The National Counterterrorism Center says about 18,000 known or suspected terrorists were allowed into the country under the previous administration. Gabbard said her greatest concerns about the influx are that there are "so many more that we are not aware of yet."
"The Biden administration did not take their vetting responsibilities seriously," Gabbard said on "Saturday in America."
The Trump administration has frequently criticized the Biden team’s immigration policy and vetting process. During his second term, Trump launched a nationwide crackdown on illegal immigration.

Of the estimated 18,000 known or suspected terrorists, Gabbard said 2,000 were Afghan nationals who entered following the 2021 U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. Over 100,000 Afghans were evacuated when the United States left Afghanistan, and multiple members of Congress have said the speed of the evacuation led to incomplete vetting.
Fox News Digital reached out to former President Biden for comment.
Gabbard said whistleblowers have come forward who were part of the vetting process following the withdrawal and told her they were ordered to rush the vetting process so migrants could enter the country during the massive, rapid influx.

"They [whistleblowers] were told, ‘Hurry up, don't do the thorough vetting that you normally do because we have to hurry up and get these people into the United States,’" Gabbard said.
She called the situation "devastating" and said it has already led to real-world consequences.
"What we are seeing right now is the exact result where we have a direct threat on the lives of the American people, and we have the kind of tragedy that we experienced on Thanksgiving with the shooting," said Gabbard.
The day before Thanksgiving, two National Guard soldiers were shot – one was killed, and the other continues to fight for his life. The suspected shooter is an Afghan national.
Protests erupt outside Army-Navy game amid Trump's attendance
President Donald Trump's visit to the 126th Army-Navy football game Saturday was met with a crowd of protesters outside M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
Footage on social media showed a line of protesters wielding lewd signs opposing Trump on the street leading up to the stadium.
Protests were expected for the game in the heavily Democrat city, as Trump has suggested sending the National Guard to Baltimore to help address the city's rampant crime. Baltimore consistently ranks among U.S. cities with high crime rates, often appearing in the top 5 for violent crimes, especially homicides and robberies.

The left-wing activist group Free State Coalition (FSC) previously told the Baltimore Fishbowl that it would be planning protests against Trump for Saturday's game.
"Baltimore refuses to be silent in the face of authoritarianism," an FSC spokesperson told the outlet. "Protest is not un-American, but fascism is; this country was born in dissent against tyranny. We want to send a message to our neighbors who are feeling isolated and afraid to speak out: you are not alone. This is not normal, not okay, and if we work together, not America’s future."
The protests against Trump also come on the same day that officials said two U.S. Army soldiers and a U.S. interpreter were killed in an ambush attack in Syria.
Trump said the attack was carried out by ISIS and that "there will be very serious retaliation."
"We mourn the loss of three Great American Patriots in Syria, two soldiers, and one Civilian Interpreter. Likewise, we pray for the three injured soldiers who, it has just been confirmed, are doing well," Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Saturday.
"This was an ISIS attack against the U.S., and Syria, in a very dangerous part of Syria, that is not fully controlled by them. The President of Syria, Ahmed al-Sharaa, is extremely angry and disturbed by this attack. There will be very serious retaliation. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

Gisele Bündchen is showing off her slim figure.
The 45-year-old Brazilian supermodel was spotted posing for photos for an unknown campaign, while walking on the beach in Miami.
In the behind-the-scenes photos, Bündchen can be seen holding a surfboard and wearing a long-sleeved one-piece bathing suit. The swimsuit featured a zipper down the center, which was left unzipped at the top, leaving some skin exposed.
Earlier this week, Bündchen was spotted filming a different project, this time dressed in a pair of brown leggings and a matching sports bra.

She and Valente first met in 2021 when she began training in jiu-jitsu, although they were just friends at the time. Their relationship reportedly turned romantic in June 2023, just seven months after she finalized her divorce from Tom Brady in October 2022.
After her relationship with Valente became public, Bündchen was faced with questions from others, wondering if she cheated on Brady with the Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor, telling the New York Times, "that is a lie."
"This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful," she said.
"They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified," she told the outlet of women combating the adulterous label. "No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship."

Head coach Sherrone Moore was fired after it was found he was having an "inappropriate relationship" with a staffer. Hours later, he was jailed and eventually charged with home invasion and stalking.
The Heisman Trophy finalist reflected on his decision to pass on Michigan in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.
"I mean, I loved Michigan. Michigan was a great school, a great program. They had a lot of great people there. It just wasn't the place for me," Love said. "I don't want to say I'm glad I didn't go there, but I think I made the right decision to pick Notre Dame as far as any other school, because Notre Dame was just the right place for me."
In more ways than one, it seems like Love made the right choice.

Prosecutors accused Moore of contacting the staffer via phone calls and texts after they broke up on Monday, prompting the woman to contact the University of Michigan and cooperate in its investigation. Moore was subsequently fired from his position as head football coach, which prosecutors said prompted him to show up at her home.
Moore allegedly "barged" his way into the victim's residence shortly after Michigan fired him for cause due to an "inappropriate relationship" with a staff member. Moore allegedly grabbed butter knives and a pair of kitchen scissors and began threatening his own life. According to prosecutors, Moore allegedly told the staffer, "My blood is on your hands" and "You ruined my life."
Moore married his wife in 2015, and they have three daughters.
The judge in the case granted Moore a $25,000 bond with conditions that included regular mental health treatment, being fitted with a GPS tracking device, no contact of any kind with the victim and remaining in Michigan.
Moore's next court date is on Jan. 22.

House Democrats voice concerns over Jasmine Crockett's Texas Senate campaign viability: report
Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett's Senate bid was met with some apprehension from anonymous House Democrats, Axios reported on Friday.
"She might win a primary, but she ain't winning a general in Texas," one senior House Democrat told Axios.
Crockett announced her Senate bid last week with a campaign video that included a voice-over of President Donald Trump's attacks against the progressive senator.
"It's concerning for [swing] districts ... I think it's a bad decision," another House Democrat told the outlet.

Crockett fired back in a statement to Axios, saying, "It's hard to get a clear picture of who the Texans are from the fog of Washington."
She added, "My message is one that reaches people who are often ignored by the political class. I'm not running a campaign focused on insider politics ... I'm focused on reaching all 30 million Texans and earning their trust."
Fox News Digital reached out to Crockett's office for comment.
The Republican side of the Texas Senate race, includes incumbent Republican Sen. John Cornyn and GOP primary rivals state Attorney General Ken Paxton and Rep. Wesley Hunt. Crockett will face Democratic state Rep. James Talarico in the Democratic primary.

Another House Democrat told Axios that there was concern about her ability to win.
"There's a lot of concern she won't win. If you have Paxton in there, particularly, it seems like a good target," the Democrat House member said. "I hope Texas picks someone that can get us a seat."
However, a fellow progressive in the House, Rep. Becca Balint, D-Vt., told Axios that Crockett is a talented messenger.

Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, said, "I believe that she can win."
"Crockett is an extremely talented messenger and has engaged millions of Americans across the country," Balint said.
Crockett has insisted that she didn't need to win over supporters of Trump in her bid for a Texas Senate seat.
"Yeah, I don‘t know that we’ll necessarily convert all of Trump‘s supporters. That’s not our goal," Crockett responded.
The progressive lawmaker said she didn't need to reach Trump supporters either, and hoped to reach people that historically have been disengaged.
Georgia football players arrested for shoplifting ahead of College Football Playoff
Legal troubles surrounding the Georgia football program continue to mount, with two freshmen players getting arrested for shoplifting weeks before the Bulldogs’ College Football Playoff appearance.
Star running back Bo Walker, who ran for his first three career touchdowns in Georgia’s 35-3 win over Charlotte last month, and offensive lineman Dontrell Glover were arrested in Athens, Georgia, on Friday and charged with misdemeanor shoplifting, online records showed.
The college football players were arrested Friday afternoon and released hours later after posting a $26 bond each.

A university spokesperson told ESPN, "We were informed of the charges and are currently in the process of gathering additional information.
"This is a pending legal matter and we will not have further comment at this time."
Walker finished the 2025 regular season with 22 carries for 100 rushing yards and three touchdowns in six games. Glover, a Georgia native, appeared in 13 games and earnedAll-SEC freshman-team honors.
GEORGIA LINEMAN KICKED OFF TEAM AFTER ARREST FOLLOWING HIGH-SPEED POLICE CHASE
Walker and Glover’s arrests come less than a month after Georgia offensive lineman Nyier Daniels was kicked off the team after he was linked to multiple charges following his arrest related to a high-speed police chase.
He was arrested last month and booked into the Jackson County Jail, where he was charged with three felonies, including fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, and 10 misdemeanor charges.
The other felonies against Daniels were two counts of cruelty to children because his two younger siblings were in his vehicle at the time, officials said. The misdemeanor charges included reckless driving and speeding.
He reportedly reached speeds of 100 mph in a 25-mph zone in Commerce and 150 mph when the chase continued on Interstate 85.
Walker and Glover’s status for Georgia in the playoffs was not immediately known. The Bulldogs will face the winner of the first-round game between Ole Miss and Tulane in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day.
